People saying Jones has the worst offensive scheme they have every seen is Crazy.
It's no different than thinking Dave Clawson was a terrible coach in 2008. Sometimes teams just get into funks and 99 times out of 100 it's centered around inexperienced QB play.

It isnt the scheme per se, it is the unwillingness to adjust and the insistence that better execution is the answer.

Whole team will be academically ineligible next year obviously.

I do think they might have hurt their chances with other coaches by firing a guy coming off of back to back SECCG appearances and trying to screw him out of his buyout in the process.

Florida is gonna have fired a coach coming off of back to back East titles and hired Chip Kelly or Frost before Currie even makes a peep after Butch got beat by Kentucky and out scored 86-7 the 2 weeks previous to that to move his SEC record to 0-5 this year.

While I'm sure not paying a buyout possibly made firing him easy, it's a huge slap in the face and middle finger by Tennessee athletic department to the fans when a coach with back to back east championships is fired before our coach. People need to stop *****ing at Butch and start *****ing about the leadership at Tennessee.... It's needs to get loud because these *******s apparently don't give two ****s about the fans

Tell me please, I want to be as optimistic as you but Ive said hello to darkness, my old friend way too many times in recent years to even halfway believe things are lining up for a change with this current and our next coach

I hope to the Disturbed version of that song. Awesome. It makes the experience of being a fan of a loser program easier to take - if it can be.

One problem with hanging on to Butch is it erroding all the good he's done here. Most including myself recognize all the positives that he's accomplished in the last 5 years. People are now starting to resent him and his presence. I know I'm starting to resent him. The longer this goes the more people are going to hate him and forget about where he brought us from.

Apparently, Mullen's wife is not a fan of Gainesville and how Mullen was treated towards the tail end of his time there.

I think he's about to get himself a raise at MSU out of this deal.
