Some of the colleges have alumni events, as well. I'm sure AD Currie and Dr. Davenport will be making the rounds to drum up pledges for the stadium renovations. That'll be interesting.

Gotcha. Just don't remember it being a big thing when I was in school, unless it was a good opponent. I think Miami was the homecoming game in 2002. That may have been the only one.

High School homecoming is more enjoyable than UT homecoming, IMO.

Bottom lines it's Frost job to turn down. Norvell name is out there but that's mostly because of another agent knowing Sexton(Norvell) and is an UF law grad. Norvell isn't getting job unless 4-5 others turn it down.

Beaver and OldVol still saying Gruden. Won't specifically talk timing but say that we shouldn't have to wait too long. Could be an interesting week.

That's a nice sentiment, but there is as much or more hope with Frost. Hope he can recruit at the highest level, hope he can bring it all year against a real schedule, hope his offense translates to the SEC, etc.

There's not a single candidate with no amount of hope required short of Patterson or Fisher.

Looking like we might be competing with UF for Frost. Maybe the way they've handled the firing of Mcelwain will be a turn off for him. If not, I would lean towards him wanting that job over Tennessee. If we lose out on Frost, we better hope we can pull Mullen. If we can't do that, it's gonna get squirrelly.

This being the RF and all, when was the last time we had an OV? Any upcoming? Interested to see how that's being managed.

I’ve heard this, but what makes everyone so confident that Frost’s ceiling is so high? I think he’s a good coach still.

It’s not like we haven’t seen UCF have this kind of success multiple times over the past decade. It’s not a hard place to win games.

I kind of have a feeling us going after Frost will end up the same as it did when we went after Mike White for basketball. And UF will have beaten us out for top young and upcoming coaches in both football and basketball in a 2 1/2 year span.

You can be convinced, but your still taking what he's done at UCF and projecting it here. I think he would do a really good job here, but there's still an amount of hope involved with anyone that hasn't been a highly successfully P5 head coach.

If I had to choose right now it would be Gruden.

He is the one they are persuing right now with everything they got.

To be clear I am not saying this WILL happen. Just fgun to my head guess as this is who we are pushing for now.

Realistically it would say Frost.

But the crazy train is fast approaching.
