Butch is the worst coach in the SEC outside of Odum for one. Stunt him how much? We don’t know what he’s capable of. He’s only played one game. He threw 10 passes until the last drive and he marched them down the field in a minute drill and he threw a perfect pass on a roll out on the final play. He would’ve won the game on a game winning drive if BJ catches the ball. I’d say that’s pretty good for his first career start. SC is not a bad football team either.

It's very bad. With that said I am betting the **** out of the vols + the points. You have to take the points in a rivalry game

My god bass he didn’t do anything until they were playing basically prevent the last drive. And let me get this straight SC is a terrible team when arguing against butch but they aren’t bad when arguing for JG? Can he at least score a TD against a FBS opponent before we crown him

When did I crown him? I said he has more talent and tools as a passer than Hurts. I don’t think there’s any denying that. But Hurts has a year and a half experience and better coaching. JG has played one game and you’re on here acting like he sucks and will never amount to anything. SC is not great, not terrible, as I said, not bad. And I don’t buy te prevent crap. He had only attempted 10 passes. They didn’t let him play. Although a few times he simply held the ball too long or receivers weren’t open. Rookie mistakes. It was his first game. Even when they were in prevent, he was putting the ball on the money. That last pass for the game winner was perfect. They weren’t in prevent. Butch should’ve been fired after Ga, SC is used against him because we are more talented and still lost and now we are 0-3 in the SEC. This isn’t hard.

Joey Kent said something profound in the Zone today, that he hoped that the team hadn't already accepted a loss when they got on the plane. If they had, Bama could name the score and the "rivalry" part wouldn't matter. I don't think the smart money is on Tennessee here.

So when the whole board is mad at Butch for not using power sets at the goal line you argue that it didn't matter, and now when a coach that the whole board hates uses it, all of a sudden it's a big plus. You just can't help yourself.

I think this is the buyout clause in Mullen's contract:

"In the event employee abrogates this contract for his/her convenience, the Board shall then fix the terms and conditions of termination."

So I'm guessing since in Feb 2017 he signed an extension through Feb 2021, if we were to hire him either he or we would have to negotiate with the MSU board? If they were of a mind to get rid of him they could offer us money to take him off their hands but if they didn't want to let him go they could ask for whatever amount they wanted to from us?
