Last week I felt if we didn't let Gurly get out of hand (which he didn't til the last two drives) and protected the ball (which we didn't) we had a real shot (which we did). Normally, the day before this game (UF) I am hopeful but achingly nervous and give in to the "here we go again" attitude by game time.
Today, I am proud to say that I have overcome this "disease" and feel as confident as ever that we will win this game. I am back to the mentality, at least for tomorrow, that I carried back in the 90's and early 00's that I expect to win tomorrow and am looking forward to a nice long celebratory weekend. Here's to ending one streak and beginning another one.

Me 100%. I'm not sure where it has come from but I'm almost 100% confident we win this thing in a blowout. It just feels like the time is right for once.

cant sleep. I have this image in my head of being on the strip, driving home after class, listening to basilio talk about how long its been since we beat florida.

it feels like an eternity ago but it was only 6 something years.

I remember watching that wilhoit kick. My father and I sitting on a couch in a house I havent seen in 10 years. Since then ive lived in 8 houses in 4 states and more than 1 country. Ive gone from being an undergrad to having my own life, a career, a wife of 7 years. Ive movehd away, ive moved home, friends have come and gone.

10 years...and it ends tomorrow.

I believe we beat UF tomorrow. I really hope we do because last time we beat them I was too young to remember it. Same with Bama.

Unfortunately I have only seen us go to 3 bowl games, I think. It has been a rough stretch, but that that time is coming to an end. After this season, all doubt will be removed. We will be back very soon. GBO!!

UF bout to get beat down worse than Ike beat Tina! Glad to be in K-Ville to watch the beginning of the UT dominance of this rivalry. I hate UF with a passion and can't wait to watch out boys F them up on the morrow!!

Tired doesn't do justice to what we feel as fans. We are tired of streaks, losing seasons, disappointments.

Coach Butch Jones has been the best thing to happen to Tennessee in a long time.

A win today would give us a .500 record in SEC play for the first time since 2009 I think. That's crazy.
