I don't know that it was bad coaching on the special teams. The offside was maybe 2 inches and Coleman landed his feet correctly but reached too early. He honestly didn't have to reach.

The offensive playcalling was suspect. It wasnt aggressive. We threw too many lateral passes instead of downfield. Their d is too fast laterally.I know our offensive line is average at best. But come on man. And not electing to try and get points before the half. Smh

No, actually, the defense played fairly well, though not great.

The offense sucked.

i agree but i think you have to look at opponent here. mizzou is very weak on offense and pretty decent on defense.

we literally played like texas A&M on defense. missing tackles everywhere. sure they were on the field more often but mizzou's offense is awful.

our offensive playcalling was suspect and the game plan seemed to just ignore the fact that theyve got great pass rushers. at the end of the day i think dobbs could have avoided a few more sacks than he did and the offensive line could have played better. whats more the coaches should have called on von pearson to get some other things going on offense. mizzou's defense is just incredibly disciplined and plays very, very smart.

Watched him pretty closely. Was not overly impressed, but didn't seem terrible. Haven't seen Gavin Bryant play a down so at the moment he seems like the favorite to play mlb. This spring and extra bowl practices could be huge for him.

Can't blame him with his first game. But from what I kept up with he looked lost. I'm excited to see what Gavin Bryant can do too. Jakob will definitely contribute. Must beat Vandy to get those extra practices..

You can't blame Coleman there. You have to go make a play. It's bang-bang and he was standing on the 40.

Defense didn't play all that bad, except for giving up some big plays. Mizzou has a good defense.

Defense played well. They were just on the field too long over the course of the game. I believe we win this game if 45 is playing. It is what it is.

I think I've seen refs make unheard of calls in UT games only to have a rule change in the offseason in the past. This might get added to the list.

Well that's offsides...the coaches need to know that from practice and have him kick it to the other sideline..

Has anyone provided proof that he was the player called offside. I can't remember if they said a number. I know 34 was also offside.

I've looked at it about 10 times. 34 was NOT offsides

Regardless of how it happened, this loss is disheartening. But imagine how it would feel if the comeback at SC hadn't happened.

Just go beat Vandy and this game will be forgotten in favor of a bowl bid.
