Let's all just call a spade a spade here, there was no offside on that play. It was just a shltty call plain and simple.

Guys, unfortunately AJ being out probably cost us that game. Too many 3rd down conversions in the 1st half. Should have blown them out but Mizzou is the anti TN. They figure out how to win and we figure out how to lose. I am so depressed. It's like I kept saying we have time to come back then I look up and we are out of time. I want to break stuff. It is hard to be a TN vol.

It should not matter which side you kick it to. You never see that called. The kicker is fine as long as he isn't way in front trying to recover his own kick. Just dumb.

It took me 30 seconds to think of 4 more reasons. Was his drop huge? Yes, but it isn't all on one play.

We certainly didn't deserve to win. Still hate games ending with BS calls.

I am not sure what the rule is. He is leaning but his feet are NOT offsides. When it's close, it usually isn't called. Just like a QB past the LOS or a TD at the goal line, his body was leaning but his feet were not past.

It was really close. I will definitely concede that but he was the one called offside from my perspective. Go back and watch it live.

At this time I wouldn't take Vandy for granted. I know, I know they suck. The worst team on our schedule but this game has caused me to go back to my Dooley days of insecurities.

I'm not taking anything for granted ever.. Flying high AstroDobbs and our Vols have come down to earth. We still have a ways to go, obviously.

It is typical SEC. I have been watching for years, and it doesn't change. Not sure that it will. Just ridiculous.

Regardless of how it happened, this loss is disheartening. But imagine how it would feel if the comeback at SC hadn't happened.

Just go beat Vandy and this game will be forgotten in favor of a bowl bid.

Agreed. This loss sucks but a win over Vandy will make the season feel alright.

We will make some noise next year.

It is specifically stated that a kicker and holder (if one is used) can't be ruled offsides on an inside kick.
