Recruiting Forum Weight Loss Advice Thread

Ok sure, says the one who can't lose weight but has a diet like a CIA dossier.
Liked for the laugh.

But there actually has been some studies done on timing your eating hours with your circadian rhythm and there is definitely something to it. Your body natural starts to shut down at night and it’s better to not eat close to bed for sure.

Sorry for the late check-in but I’m still trying! Got 100% on schedule last week. Keto and IF everyday and a 24hr water fast from Sunday night to Monday dinner. Weighed in at 169.0 on Friday, went home and ate and drank everything at the parents, felt huge on the 3hr drive on Sunday, 24hr fast brought me right back to 169.0lbs. Let’s Keep it rolling

Today is Day 1 of -real- Keto...

Sitting at around 2g of carbs so far (from eggs). Luckily the gas station (don't judge me) I usually get my biscuit in the morning from has a flat-top. So they usually just use the grease created from the meats they fry and don't add oil to it.

So 2 scrambled eggs and 8 pieces of bacon, about 500 calories and less than 5g carbs. Lunch will be zero carbs and then dinner I'll have some carbs but will watch it closely to keep from going over 50g for the day. Really going to try and stay closer to 35-40 range though.

Weight loss is tough when the football team stinks. To much booze and food. I just started back this week. 219lbs.

Wrong. Eating at night will not stunt fat loss. Such a dumb old myth.

I’d like to see what you’re reading. It may not stunt it, but it’s a missed opportunity to extend your fast, which is missed opportunity to be in max ketosis for myself. Those things equal less fat loss.

Lolollllll betas. Most MDs weight suggestions are POVERTY
I agree but the people I linked are not the typical MDs. They don’t recommend the “traditional American diet” of tons of high carb grains.

Call em what you will but I went from 190 to 150 without lifting a weight off their eating advice in around just 3 months. You’ve mentioned having trouble losing the LBs, so probably shouldn’t brush off an alternative professional diet view as “lol betas.” But do you booboo!

Definitely betas. I’ll follow the pros who actually train clients at high levels. My metabolism is difficult but down 17lbs

There’s no “one size fits all” to losing weight and staying healthy for the long term. There are many pro trainers who subscribe to the same knowledge and methods I’m talking about.
