Recruiting.

I can't believe I missed out on this thread when the discussion was hot.

UT has commitments from the following players who were also offered by S.Car.:
(1) Todd Campbell Franklin, TN
(2) Daryl Vereen Huntersville, NC

S.Car. has commitments from the following players who were also offered by UT:
(1) Gary Gray Columbia, SC
(2) Michael Bowman Wadesboro, NC
(3) Quintin Richardson Columbia, SC

All in all it's pretty even at this point as far as recruiting vs. Spurrier goes. Both UT and S.Car. will have to do something special on the field this year if they are going to start raking it in.

Our post 2004 class was a top 5 class. We won 10 games.

i can agree with that to, but when you look as awful as we did last year there isn't going to be a elite offensive prospect in the country going to UT. why would you want to go. under the assumption they will be better because of Cut. highschool kids are going to see right through that i know i would.

South Carolina also offered the LB/S commitment we have from NC. Alonzo Winfield. So its actually 3-3.

I knew S.C. was on Winfield's list at Rivals.com but I did not see that S.C. actually offered him. Thanks for the info.

You're agreeing with me. I can pull up the recruiting rankings for each season in correlation to our wins. :D

do you ever remember us looking like we didn't have a clue like we did last season. it is going to take time for recruits to forget that. hell it is going to take time for me to burn that from my memory. :birgits_giggle:

If Tennessee makes it to the SEC CG, our 2007 class will take a turn for the better. Unless it's too late, so many of these kids are signing early.

At times when Casey Clausen was hurt in 2002, we looked very similar.

The 2002 UGA game was was so ugly it set college football back a few years.
