On the CFB Ranking show just now, Reece already said our game wasn't as close as the score. He is one bitter Bama alum.

We’re #5 as expected. And Rece is getting on my nerves. Trying to sell that we got beat by GA every bit as bad as Oregon did. We got whipped bad but it wasn’t a woodshed beating like Oregon got. And he’s complaining that LSU is “blocked” by UT. We beat LSU 40 to 13 at Baton Rouge. Heck yeah we are blocking them. What a moron.

Losing by 14 in Athens being somehow as bad as losing by 40 at a neutral site has to be one of the biggest ice cold reaches I’ve ever heard. You are what the scoreboard and your record say you are.

I didn’t take it that he was complaining that LSU was “blocked” by Tennessee. I think he was saying that Tennessee won in Baton Rouge by 27 so that’s keeps them in front of LSU no matter what LSU does from here on out.

Yep. Georgia beat Oregon by 46 points on a neutral field. I don’t see how that can be ignored except for SEC fatigue which a lot of folks have. Many are dying to get TCU and Oregon or USC in there.

I truly believe that is what it is. And I think they are hyping LSU, not because they think LSU should be there but as a way to discredit Tennessee.

As one coach said you are what your record is and you got beat by what the score was. If you could run it up you would but you were afraid of TOs ergo conservative run the clock vs Oregon you were not afraid ergo 40+ win.

I kinda look at things from the other perspective.

The last few years semifinals have basically been meh.

What's the last competitive one? Maybe Clemson/Ohio State in 2020?

Last thing they want is another 30-10 ho hum yawner

They need competitive games, and lacking that they need offense.

If Oregon makes it, you sure as hell can't schedule them vs GA in the first round. Game would be over by the end of the first and TVs change channels.

This take is stupid and it’s 40% of the fan base and people in this forum I can’t stand. Do you understand the program of UGA. Do yo understand we just got here and it’s year 2. You should be on your knees thanking god we are even this close in the first place. This is year 2. Wait till year 5 of this then you can have this take. We have arrived. That doesn’t mean we are going to beat a powerhouse and one of the staples of college football. We are good.. in fact we are really good.. just stop getting lost and understand what college football is and where we are ! Be thankful

Oregon will drop 1 of the next 3 I think. I live in Oregon( job put me out here)
They play Washington this week. That is Oregons version of our Alabama. Then they play Utah at Utah and that will not be easy. They end with a ranked and sneaky good Oregon St. team. So they drop one I just don’t know which one. I think Utah

😂😂😂😂 I never said TN sucked or was bad … I made a statement . 90% of Vol fans were confident on beating Georgia’s arse, so if everyone felt that good about them winning , they should have won . This would be a mute subject .. have a nice night.

3-1. The CFP poll only considers teams ranked in their poll as ranked opponents. Florida and Pittsburgh are not ranked. AP poll doesn’t count.

That wasn't a garbage touchdown. Good God it put Tennessee in striking range late. I can't help it if you have mental issues and think 10 second and 28 second drives are successful clock eaters.
