Despite some reports the shooter is NOT a military veteran which

Hey LG. My wife (although we are in Tennessee) happens to work with mental health system of Arizona. It's unfortunate people are wired so loosely but she has had some horrific cases in Arizona. About a year ago a couple was arrested for using their 8 year old daughter to fight other children, instead of Michale Vick and dog fighting ring it was a children fighting ring. If they did not win they had very little food, abused, basically treated like a dog. I'm sure I could have found out more detail but I had heard enough. Pitiful.

I find the dynamics of this embryonic revolution actually much different than the political upheavals of the past. The list of homegrown terrorist attacks someone posted on this page (an admirable job) all share a vitriolic and entrenched antagonism against civilization. They are certainly the forces of Deep Reaction - ready to roll back the Enlightment and let the Devil sort out the rubble. I'll have to mature my opinion on this, but I think the character, principles, and tenor of this brewing revolution are far, far different than any social revolution of the last 1,000 years or so, at least.
