Rep Massie posts gun photo

some nut claimed I contradicted myself.
I assured him that I had not.
You called me a liar.

Something like that.......

You claimed that if someone truly believes another person is committing murder that they should be reasonable and accept that others might be okay with that.

Should we also be "reasonable" if some grown men are attracted to minors? They obviously don't see that as a perversion, sin, or crime.

That's not at all an accurate reflection of my post - shocking
I was not talking about murder in general, I was specifically talking about viewing abortion as murder. (which you knew)
and what I actually said after that is...........
"They should also be smart enough to realize how other reasonable people could view abortion as acceptable and not as murder, and thereby lay off the "baby killer" nonsense."

The bolded is critical.

There is absolutely no contradiction in what I said. (Even though some will evidently think so.)

So as long as some reasonable people view something one way it should be accepted by all?

That same logic applies the other way. The pro abortion "reasonable people" should accept that other reasonable people have anti abortion views and should lay off their own "my body my choice" nonsense. Or its "not human" nonsense, or "it's not worth protecting" nonsense. All of those stances are equally as divisive as "baby killer" imo.

I didn't say it should be accepted, I said it should be viewed as reasonable people can disagree.
And yes, both sides should tone it down and just let Roe v Wade stand as is.

Why would reasonable people let it stand?

We cant agree on reforms to the justice system so the default should be to leave the system that is causing issues, in place?

We cant agree on gun reform, so it's best if we left the 2A alone?

We cant agree on educational fixes, so it's best to just leave it as is?

We cant agree on health reforms, so it's best to just leave it as is?

Your condescending BS is nothing but drivel. I know you think you are smarter than everyone, but it's quite obvious how errant that is.

No REASONABLE person would witness or firmly believe that an act is murder and be able to "realize" that other people might not see it that way, unless they truly lack morality or fortitude.

That's just completely narrow minded and shallow.
If person A thinks that all sperm cells and all eggs are sacred and should never be waisted, and that using birth control is murder; I understand but completely disagree.
If person B thinks that the second a sperm cell fertilizes an egg a living human is formed and that taking a day after pill is murder, I understand but completely disagree.
If person C says they do not believe a living person exists until brain activity, a heart beat, and reflex to stimuli can be detected: and that aborting after that point is murder, I understand but completely disagree.

Should persons A, B, and C be able to understand each others positions without calling one another baby killers and a supporters of murder?

I know you have to answer yes. And I know you now see my point. And I know you will not acknowledge that.

You call it shallow, but it's actually a very deep and spiritual conviction. I'm truly saddened that you don't have that yet and will pray that God removes the scales from your eyes.

I would consider 16 if the child receives proper gun training since a person can drive at 16.
I’ve been hunting with the same woodsmaster 742 since I was 11 years old. It’s chambered in 30/06. That’s when it was given too me. I was trained in proper Gun safety when I started shooting with my family at 8 years old. I started actually at 7 with a pellet gun. By 9 I was shooting with a 22. By 11 I was a better shot than most adults and very safety concerned.
The early you start training with small caliber the better.
I started both my son’s early as well.

Why, because they look scary to you?

In close quarters, a 12 gauge with moderate to heavy load will do exponentially more damage than a round from a .223.
A shotgun with 00 buck puts out 11, 9mm sized slugs with every pull of the trigger.
My self defense weapon for my house is an 870 with 00 buckshot.
