I was being sarcastic, but I don't know how to respond to some of these posts.

If you don't like Bush, that's fine (I hated some of his policies), but to accuse him of some of these things...

Was he responsible for 911?

Are you serious? The entire family was involved with organized crime. Why do you think H.W. Bush shut down the organized crime task forces?

Everything George W. Bush ever touched was shady. From his purchase of the Rangers, to his insider trading accusations while at Harken. Harken was later found to be a large partner of BCCI, a bank known for it's ties with drug lords and third world dictators. The Wall Street Journal reported that the business ties between Harken and BCCI, just so happened to become much, much closer after George W. Bush started working for Harken.

Prescott Bush (father of H.W. Bush)- helped the Japanese organized crime syndicate Yakuza get established in America by making arrangements for a front company.

Neil Bush and Jeb Bush were both involved with banks that failed during the Savings and Loan crisis and both received unusually high amounts of money from companies they helped get outrageously large loans that were never paid back.

Neil Bush was senior officer of Silverado, a bank that went down during the savings and loan crisis due to "serious misconduct by senior officials". One of his misconducts was loaning a company, that eventually went bankrupt, an outrageously large sum of money on which they never paid a dime back, and then taking personal payments from that same company.

Every time I start to like Romney, he goes and does something stupid. Now he's giving the impression that he feels guilty because he's rich.

I never endorsed reckless spending either. Example: Why do we not pay for wars in this country? Why did we allow the Reagan administration to quadruple the national deficit during the cold war? Why did we allow the most recent Bush to start two wars while cutting taxes in both years? Why did Obama cut the freakin payroll tax?

Is it too much to ask that we don't cut taxes while our national debt is skyrocketing?

Or is it really that crazy of an ideal that we should raise taxes during a time of war?

Those idea's are the complete opposite of reckless spending.

Why do people view tax rates as if it's a matter of raising rates and opening a spigot for more revenue? It doesn't work that way.
