Who would you vote for to run for President from the Republican Party?

It's been well documented that the asking for a divorce at the hospital thing is an urban legend.

How can you document something that presumably had no witnesses other than the principles and there were no recording devices? Won't it always be a 'take my word on it' situation?

Saw something on the news tonight. It was Santorum endorsing Romney in 2008. It was interesting that the things he praised Romney for are things he is attacking him for now.

The whole race is a mess, but I suspect Santorum dug his own grave the last debate. Talking shop to explain his record in the senate spiraled out and blew up on him, even though I thought he was being pretty candid about it.

Santorum and Romney both have many things in their legislative pasts that should give most conservatives considerable pause, Romney has seemingly done the better job making those things easy to swallow to this point.

Polling is showing that Michigan and Wisconsin are slipping away from the Republicans, so it's looking like the winning ticket is Florida and some combination of PA or Ohio. I still think Santorum could win one of the two.

Sure it will . . . But the story came from a hit piece 25 years ago and it's been pretty strongly refuted.

There's a litany of things to beat Newt in the head for without going to stuff like this.

Stats came out from Vandy tonight that Santorum could win TN with 33-34% of the votes. Seriously? 6 months ago this state was probably considered a lock for Romney. Now Santorum is the Republican "bandwagon pick of the week".

I cant show family and friends Ron Paul Videos/Speeches/Debate points fast enough.

Santorum from behind?

Just saw a Romney ad contrasting his record with Santorum's.

One thing I noticed, they had this male voice narrating the Romney part of the ad and a female voice narrating the Santorum part.

Has anyone else heard this? Do you think there is some significance? Does the man sound more trustworthy? Does the woman sound vindictive? What do ya'll hear?

I admire the enthusiam from Paul supporters. But it isn't going to happen. 3rd party candidate is still years away from being a serious contender.

That said, as of now I'm voting Gary Johnson.

How is he a 3rd party candidate? He has the most conservative voting record of anyone since the 1930's.

He's not some fringe candidate. Instead he's the only Jefersonian in the entire race.

If Romney wins it will finally prove beyond a doubt that we truly have a one party system in this country.

I'm not saying his views are wrong, or even that I disagree with many of them. I'm just saying he's still viewed as a 3rd party candidate even if he's running for the R nomination. He has no chance there if for no other reason money.

And he's not given any serious consideration by any of the major media outlets. They're going to stick to the rubberstamp Ds and Rs.

Too much other garbage involved for him to stand a chance. I'm not knocking him. But it's gonna likely be Romney.

I can agree with that.

Just did the delegate counter on CNN. I've got Romney winning it by 66 (1210 delegates), Santorum with 671. That looks pretty weak.
