Resume comparison

Today's games:

7pm Virginia @ Florida State
7pm Kentucky @ Georgia
7pm Butler@ UMASS
9pm Oregon @ Colorado

Catch22 with UMASS, they are a bubble team so a loss is what we'd probably want. However, if they win they likely climb into top 50 and give us a victory over another top 50 team on our resume, so I'll let everyone pick that one themselves...

Don't want Umass to win.
A win over Butler would give them 2 Q wins along with a winning road record. Won't move them to top 50 rpi.
If the Committee should take 6 from the A10 the SEC could be screwed.

But that helps us as long as we keep winning. I could care less how many teams the SEC gets in as long as we are one

You should care.
If the SEC only gets 3 and KY wins out, we'd be out.

But if we continue to win we will be in point blank. UK keeps winning that's fine they will push somebody who is in the last four in out. We will get more than three.

We're not going to be excluded because they put a predetermined league cap on the tourney.
That's just it.
There aren't any predetermined league caps.
We're competing for 37 AL spots.
Add 1 team to the ACC, A10 etc and another conference puts less in.
We're sitting at 37 or 38 after last night.

I worded that awkwardly.

I was trying to say that there are no conference caps, so we won't be excluded for that.

Your post was making it sound like that the conference numbers did matter, and I argue that they don't.

We beat Auburn and our sos still went into the fifties but we could get that down again today with a win over Missouri.
