I think they're figuring it out. They barely even give the main chick lines anymore. Not sure who she slept with to get cast for the main role, but that was a smart career move.

My guess is it was a couple people cause she is real bad. Pushing her to the side a little has helped. Still not a very good show, though it has improved. Of course it almost had too.

The movie is like 4 years old now. Isn't there an expiration for spoiler alerts? I mean if you haven't watched by now then it must not be very high on your queue.

FTR, I liked the movie but it wasn't a mind blowing twist to me. Sometimes it's the journey not the end that is entertaining.

The side story in the show is them always helping someone else along the way to finding her brother. They will have saved 100 people by the time they actually get to him.
I wanted to punch that girls younger sister in the mouth. "Let's go see dad, let's go see dad, come on leave your friends who just helped you save me, let's go see dad, I don't want to be alone."

Lol that is true. It's some new poor soul they have to save every week.
Then they leave, and she leads her to the militia. "Hey sis this guys are gonna kill your friends, oh btw I haven't seen dad." Did she think the sister was just gonna be cool with it?

I saw the pilot and determined that this show wouldn't last. Against my better judgement I gave it one more shot tonight.

This show is insultingly stupid. Will. Never. Watch. Again.

No doubt you honestly picked the worst episode so far to watch to give the show a second chance. :)

I have to say, them "running out of air" in the tunnels within a matter of hours(?) was an epically stupid move on the writers part. I thought maybe they'd play it off as getting gassed by one of the mines but when he brought up oxygen deprivation I did a huge facepalm.

Haven't been in this thread for a month or so...

Had to make sure the show didn't all of a sudden get good. I quit it after the 3rd episode. Held on to 4 and 5 in the DVR for a few weeks, and then just deleted them and cancelled the show in my scheduler. Too terrible to watch.

I have the last 2 saved, still. Every once in a while I get so extremely bored that I watch an episode. I will probably just delete them and get rid of the season recording.

Just found this thread. After reading It through I have to agree with most of what is said: terrible acting, obvious plot holes, etc. That being said I still watch It every week and am trying to figure out why. Only thing I can come up with is that I liked LOST so much that I desperately want to have a similar expierence. Remember that LOST was pretty stupid early on too (polar bears on an island in the pacific). I also really like the mom (Juliet from LOST) and some of the other characters that pop up from LOST. I'll keep watching and it does appear that there will be at least a few more episodes after the holiday break.

me and the wife are gluttons for punishment....or just simple minded easy to entertain people.....havent figured out which yet....but we watch :)

Just finished the last 3 episodes. I have to say they really turned the show around. It has gotten a lot better. Maybe the actors have grown into their roles. The finale was a major twist, and finished very strong.

I DVRed the whole first season and over the last week and half I have watched it all start to finish. I finished the last two episodes last night and wow. :clapping: :good!: It really was pretty good minus a few complaints. (such as it seems they don't ever get dirty or are hurting for food like you see in the Walking Dead or really have a lack of ammo.)

I first thought there was only like 8-10 or so of those (power) pendants now it seems there are hundreds if not thousands of them.

I now wonder where the story goes is the former President as seen in the last minute of the show a bad guy?

Giancarlo Esposito who plays Tom Neville really can play a great bad guy.

One more thing Billy Burke who plays Miles would make a great MacGyver, he looks a lot like Richard Dean Anderson.

I'm not sure if I can go a whole fall, winter & spring DVRing this and not watching it each week this time around!
