America's largest Confederate statue is removed: Richmond's Robert E. Lee monument comes down in VICTORY for BLM and will now be sent to Goochland Women's Correctional Center
The crowds of spectators cheered, whooped then broke into song, chanting 'Na na na na, na na na na, hey hey, goodbye' as it was lowered to the ground. They also chanted 'Black Lives Matter'.
- Last year, Virginia Gov. Ralph Northam announced it would be brought down in light of the BLM movement
- The new capsule contains 39 'artifacts' including a BLM sticker, a 'Virginia is for lovers' Pride sticker, an expired COVID vaccine and pictures from a Stop Asian Hate Protest

It really shows the ignorance of the modern American youth and the product of years of anti-American education.
Odd that your definition of a proponent of civil rights literally led a war against the abolition of slavery.
I've seen a lot of revisionist history around the Confederacy in my day, but saying the guy who literally led a war effort to keep people enslaved was a proponent of civil rights takes the cake. Goebbels didn't hate Jews, he just wanted to showcase the power of creative writing. It would be odd if that were true. The war was about a lot of things. It started over tariffs, actually. Lee wanted to abolish slavery, and he pushed for the confederacy to do so. It would be odd to fight for the confederacy in order to save slavery while simultaneously advocating the end of slavery.
