It is completely appropriate to complain and whinge about Barnes and the performance today, but be honest with yourselves. Barnes isn't the problem.
This UT team is a TERRIBLE shooting team. This has been evident all season long. We all knew that if they had one of those cold-shooting starts, this team was a one-and-done.
A coach can scheme, motivate, teach technique, etc., but a coach cannot make a player into a natural shooter. Those exist already or evolve over time. This current UT squad has zero natural shooters. And every good team must have at least one, and the great teams have several.
Springer has potential, Keon Johnson may develop into one, but across the board, this was a physically-gifted, spirited team composed of athletes with limited raw offensive skills.
