I wouldn't be so sure. Texas brass won't suffer mediocrity. Look to the football program for proof of that. Not advancing past the 1st rd of the NCAAT in 6 seasons won't be tolerated by many, and like most situations in Austin, they would rather make a move a year early than a year late.I actually haven’t claimed for firing Barnes. If I was Texas I’d probably look at a different coach. I’m just saying he’s not getting fired.
Knowing those Longhorn higher ups, he could be fired by the time the plane hits the tarmac.I wouldn't be so sure. Texas brass won't suffer mediocrity. Look to the football program for proof of that. I'm not claiming that he'll be fired, but I'd venture to guess it's significantly more possible than you seem to believe.
Or we find a coach that can coach 5* talentMany on here have begged that he flip the roster though, saying we need to add a bunch of talent, so which is it?
Maybe we flip the roster and add some pieces but aren’t as good as fans feel we should be on paper (SHOCKER), but are still NCAAT team and set up better for the future?
