• Our regular season championship didn’t count because we shared it with Auburn.

• Pearl was done bad by the University. He should still be our coach.

• Barnes is a lazy recruiter who runs an outdated offense.

• He should be fired or retire so we can hire a coach with tournament success.

Am I missing something?

Actually winning the tourney in Nashville when youre a top 4 seed. Not consistently under performing your seed your entire 30 year career. If youre a high seed an EE at least once a decade, a FF once a decade. S16 at least at a 3 out of 5 tournament trips. The big one is not underperforming your seed which Barnes has done 3 times

Look at his career, not happening. Espically the not underperforming your seed. Hes already done that 3 times.

Regular season conference titles are a huge accomplishment IMO. More meaningful than an SECT title IMO.

I wouldnt. Give me a young guy with potential and time to figure it out vs a 66 year old stubborn son of a gun set in his ways.
I know there has been some talk on Shaka the last day or so, and ill put it like this with him, give me the Shaka with his VCU style and I take that over Barnes any day of the week.

Nothing wrong with you becoming a fan or whichever team Smart coaches - might be somewhere besides Texas as his job performance isn’t meeting their expectations

I wouldn't consider being a 5 and losing to a 4 a failure. Being a 9 losing to an 8 really isn't either. Being a 5 losing to a 12 is. Being a 2 losing to an 11 or whatever they were is.

Nah. There are plenty of fair criticisms to levy on Barnes. But, some of the arguments here are not what I would consider fair criticisms.
