And for the record, I like the new balance of offense and defense! Even with some of our frustrations, our analytics point directly to the profile of a title contender. It’s just funny to see everyone in here whining when this season’s team is exactly what they’ve been asking for.

And one that doesn’t throw in the towel when things go south. Not a lot of coaches pull off a win like this after his team suffers a 25 point swing. Pulled the right strings. Pushed the right buttons. Didn’t abandon everything that wasn’t working flawlessly.

The Bashers must be so disappointed that they aren’t able to be in this thread adding 10-20 pages of their crap right now.

Agree. We saw tough shot making knock us out of the tournament last season despite having an elite defense. Now, even though our defense looks to have taken a step back, we have some tough shot making that has made us leaps and bounds better on the offensive end. That’s a trade off worth making imo.

I do wish Barnes had force fed Estrella some more minutes in non conference play, but it’s a long season. He may find a role on this team yet.

Hard to find minutes right now. Aidoo had 15 boards today along with 10pts, 5 blocks and 4 assists. Awaka had 6 easy pts in reserve, but also brick-handed a couple of entry passes. It"s not as easy to give minutes to reserves as people think

There is a reason this team is ranked as high as it is with the number of losses it has. We are a problem for the world. If we run into someone early with 2 legit big men its gonna get crucial. But the list of teams is short. We have already seen it so we might have a plan. UT is still right now a legit final 4 contender.

In order to be a FF contender, James and Vescovi need to find their stroke again. We obviously need to cut down on TOs as well.

The interview I heard with Estrella, he seemed very positive about his progress and the way Barnes has been coaching him. We need to make sure he sticks around for his future. He can be very good.
