Not true. We have one of the largest arenas in the country and are 6 th in the country for attendance. People here are basketball fans too

You appear obsessed with it though. We get he makes a lot of money. We've paid for worse. Did you complain about Butch getting a check for 3 years after he quit in the middle of the season?

I’m obsessed with having a basketball program that is relevant in March/April. It’s obvious the coach we have now isn’t going to get us there. I couldn’t care less what he makes but it’s obvious we are overpaying our current coach for the results we are getting

Tyndall was a MUCH better floor coach than Cuonzo. The NCAA flexing it's muscle on a small school while blinding eying blue bloods is what did him in, not his coaching ability.

If you don’t think that having the #1 rated team in the country (out of over 350 other programs) at any time, let alone for a MONTH, isn’t an incredible accomplishment, I can’t help you. You are simply obsessed with spewing your anti-Barnes garbage.

I don't understand this revisionist history on the #1 ranking. Before Barnes had us #1 a month people were constantly praising Pearl for "getting us to #1" even though we lost the very next game. Now it's not a big deal when Barnes did it longer?

Barnes went to two SECT finals in March and has been in the last 3 NCAATs. Devoe missed making the NCAAT field in 5 of his last 6 years. Devoe finished the season ranked in the AP Top 20 one time in 11 years.

Perhaps not elite, but he still will be nominated for and get into the hall of fame in my opinion. He has been successful everywhere he has been, albeit I acknowledge problems come tournament time.
