The old story from Coach John Wooden,

I've always enjoyed Bill Walton. He's his own man. You've probably heard this story but one time he told me he wasn't going to get a haircut. He told me I didn't have the right to make him get a haircut. I said, "No, I don't, Bill. I just have the right to determine who is going to play — and we're going to miss you."

If Kellie thinks Rickea doesn't need to play, I fully support Kellie.

The Lady Vols went 11-5 in conference last year losing to Auburn, Florida, Alabama, SC and LSU.

This season, I don’t think we’ll struggle with Vandy, Missouri, Kentucky or TAMU, but I don’t see any other automatic wins.

And like others I’m concerned if we will have any Top 25 wins at all this season and how that will impact our tournament chances or seeding.

Love this . One statement made " Out indefinitely" and the board goes crazy with negative assumptions smh . Ive seen an uptick in certain posters here calling others disrespectful names when they dont agree with their post. Why has it come to this ?> Its a freaking message board were not all going to agree that's why we get to discuss . If you don't agree with someone's views that does not give you the right to insult them personally calling them names. The block/ignore button is real ya know ?

I'd like to say it will come back to bite them, but that doesn't appear to be the case. There's some middle ground between lil Kim scheduling the Sisters of the Poor and Needy and Kellie scheduling the top 15. Wish KJH had found that ground. As of now, the LVs overschedule looks like a mistake - a noble and optimistic one, but a mistake. Two or three tough games before Christmas should suffice. I don't love sitting through cupcakes, but this start has definitely shaken the foundation.

As far as underscheduling, if the committee doesn't care I guess its the safest option. Geno proved long ago that playing in a cupcake league doesn't actually hurt you come tourney time, in spite of conventional wisdom to the contrary. Only thing, Kim's trying to build attendance and her laughable schedule won't help that.

Yeah this whole thing doesn't feel good. Now we have someone setting up an account just to dish dirt. Agenda much? Last name Hayes? Of course with so little info there is going to be speculation, but this is headed for the toilet I'm afraid.

Well it could be a blessing in disguise cause we should be killing it in the SEC this year and if we can't that should send a message that shouldn't be ignored.

Given the pre-season expectations, did anyone think they'd lose all 5 games that they did? And this is before getting to Stanford and UConn OOC. The schedule was fine for a team that was a preseason top 5 team. There was no reason for them to have lost a lot of the games they did with the talent they have on their team.

I think she thought we could beat Indiana and Va Tech at home certainly not having Horston hurt us in one and not having three players absolutely was the reason we couldn't win the other. Sometimes you just make the schedule where you punch about five teams in the mouth before you should take a punch.

There are simply too many of them (i.e. personal insults) --- both ways. I'd really like the forum to lose the "Nega" v. "Pumper" name calling divide, at least for the Holidays! Too much to ask?

Yeah but you have to take in account that crazy stuff happens - injuries, teams better than she thought, etc. This was a real all or nothing scheduling gamble.
