It’s just no different than the anti vaccine people posting up pictures of those who took the vaccine and died from an adverse reaction. It’s just classless. There are risks with either decision. Everyone should be ready to live with the risk they take.

Agreed. The only perfect solution is to completely go off the grid and go into a bomb shelter for a year. That isn’t feasible. People need to manage their own family’s risks. I have the vax. That was my choice (well my crazy ass wife’s choice). I don’t care if others choose to vax or not and I don’t care if they wear a mask or not. I just want the same consideration in return. It isn’t that hard.

You risk death in every thing you do. The perception of the risk of death changes from person to person.
Your question to me is “was I ready to risk death as a side effect because I took the moderna vaccine?” In my estimation it was the better option to protect The Red Women who is in remission for liver cancer.
I appreciate your concern though.

He never addressed the outbreak and his administration was warned about outbreaks in military camps by army doctors and the Red Cross and still continued to send recruits to those camps as well as overcrowding troop transports which led to more infections and deaths. Even continued after the armistice. The transport of soldiers around the US seemed to hasten the spread of the disease. The Spanish flu was sort of the opposite of covid and teenagers and young adults got his harder and any negative coverage was censored during the war. The 1918 sedition act made it harder for people to protest against government action in the war and a lot of newspapers felt it wasn’t in their best interest to write negative views during the war. Though to be fair a lot of republicans went alongside with them. Here is a good article on the cover-up that occurred in the US as well as around the world.

That's exactly what happened. It was viewed as conspiracy last spring. Now it's coming out to be true. That's why we haven't went after the Chinese. We were complicit with those bastards.

China is to blame for his death. If a drunk driver crosses lanes of traffic and hits you head on and you die. Just because you didn't have tour seat belt on doesn't mean your at fault. It's the drunks fault.

And mine was driven by protection of my 81 year old mother in law that lives with us and has her own health complications. The wife and I have been playing a mean Tampa 2 for the last 18 or so months. We all got vax’ed as our opportunities presented and I’m not sweating long term possibilities since I’m 57 and mostly dead now anyway.

If I was 25 again and young and strong as a horse… 🤷‍♂️

He also advised people take veterinary worm medicine if they got Covid.

I've always been amazed how much power some media types have over their audiences. Supposedly his listeners are getting shots left and right now.

Sorry, unlike @NorthDallas40 I don't stalk posters and know every move they've ever made in this forum.

Based on our interactions in the past and comments I've seen you make, I have a general idea of your stances. I'm glad you've gotten vaccinated, it's the safe, smart, and right thing to do. More people should follow that example. People have the liberty to make whatever vaccination choice they want, but by and large I don't think the people who aren't getting vaccinated realize they are setting themselves or their loved ones up for serious illness or death until it's too late.

Hopefully Phil Valentine serves as a lesson for them.

Yes. Thinking I already went through it and survived. You ready to face whatever may come from receiving the vaccine? I don’t think you understand the imaginary safety net you think you have under you is chock full of question marks that even experts can’t answer for another several years. We’ve seen some reactions to the vaccine that aren’t great. That’s just the first 8 months.

It's more like this. I build a ship. You buy it. It's poorly built. You're out at sea. It starts to sink. The coast guard shows up and throws you a life preserver. You refuse, saying "No thanks, I'm a strong swimmer. I'll swim back to shore on my own." You drown. Who is to blame for your drowning?

But the there is a chance the life preserver has holes in it.. theyre not hanging around and mine does so I drown anyway..


This isn't about the vaccine it's who's ultimately responsible for the virus in the first place.
