RIP Twitter

I don’t do twatter or Facebook.
Twitter should be widely ignored by business. When the twitters start bitching just ignore them.
I was really disappointed that the SEC caved to the vocal dipsticks the other day.
Just like channels on a TV, what you pay attention to on Twitter is your decision.

This man has beaten alcoholism to date and is just trying to achieve something in life but a bunch of no talent knuckle dragging dumbasses who probably struggle to wipe their ass don’t like his music and bullied the SEC to change a song.

Say what you want about Walker Hayes and his music but the reality is the world world be better with more people with his level of honesty. I hope he’s successful just so the losers will be unhappy about it.

Relentless College Football Fans Cyberbully The SEC Into Deleting Walker Hayes Tweet With Brutal Ratio

Just one more reason I can’t wait for musk to destroy Twit-er

That’s a Vince Vaughn quote from the movie couple’s retreat.
But if you don’t want me using it that’s fine.

as you wish.

Except the bullies have power on twitter.
The power to destroy lives.
The cyber bullies are out of control and there’s no way to stop it.

They'll get their message out one way or another. There are sure to be cyber-bullies on whatever social media platform people are using and they'll be from both sides of the political spectrum.

And now we’re back to the actual problem and what needs to be done to solve it. I don’t know what the answer is but I know the answer isn’t ignoring it till the next shooting or suicide and blaming guns for it.

I don't know. An unhealthy obsession with Twitter by the fringes?

It could be that I’m just slow at picking up on these things, but I was surprised by how this corporate drama divides down political lines.

Then again, i was also really surprised how the mask / no mask issue divided down political lines. It only became apparent to me why it was later.

Long thread. Tl;dr: Twitter asked for a trial in September. Musk asked for sometime in 2023. Court said Twitter’s schedule was too onerous, Musk’s proposal underestimates the court’s ability to deal with complex cases. Trial set for October.

Musk better get his fat, pale ass back from Mykonos then.

Guns aren't to blame for the underlying mental illness or irresponsibility of some of our citizens.

Guns ABSOLUTELY ARE to blame for the ease and swiftness with which they carry out their attacks, be they a neighborhood gang dispute or a school shooting.

We've shown an amazing inability as a society to deal with either.

Guns are irrelevant to the problem. Rifles in particular statistically insignificant to total deaths per year. We have fights breaking out at Disney over fast passes. Brawls regularly in airports, little league softball games…..we have a culture of lawlessness that’s been fostered the last few years. Combined with a cultural disregard for the value of life. Start working to change that and you might actually make a difference. Taking guns away from the citizens that obey the law will only cause more deaths. Gun control is an absolute failure that increases deaths everywhere it’s tried.
The facts are in. It’s not even debatable

The Sex-Crazed supernerds of Silicon Valley: Open Marriages, Drug-Fuelled Orgies, company outings to Strip Clubs... Elon Musk has denied sleeping with the wife of a fellow tech tycoon, but in the world he inhabits, normal morals are for mere mortals

The invitation innocently specified fancy dress — ‘glamazon adventurer, safari chic and jungle tribal attire’ — but for those acquainted with the lavish parties thrown in mansions, chateaux and beachfront palaces around Silicon Valley, it was obviously going to be another of the technology elite’s monthly bacchanals filled with drugs and sex.

Guests at the ‘party on the edge of the world’, hosted by a prominent venture capitalist at his beachside home outside San Francisco, included Elon Musk, who wore a black armour-like costume adorned with silver spikes and chains. His old friend, Google co-founder Sergey Brin — another of the world’s richest people — went ‘bare-chested and in a vest’.

Despite his decidedly kinky outfit, Musk later insisted the do was ‘boring and corporate, with zero sex or nudity anywhere’. Perhaps he spent all his time in the kitchen, because a young woman at the event, who worked in tech, reported she found herself with two couples on the living room floor, which was blanketed with white faux fur and pillows.

Several people had already started stroking one another, she said, when she was offered powdered ecstasy in a bag — the drug is famously good at melting inhibitions between strangers.
