RIP Twitter

telsa's biggest problem is supply chain. People are tired of waiting a year to get their vehicle. The other automakers making gains in the market is also hurting them.

But that would imply people don't think the supply chain is ever going to get better, right? As an investor, I would look at global supply chain issues as something that will get fixed, and you'd hold.

My bro-in-law waited 6 months for a Hyundai. It's hurting everybody, not just Tesla.

No. The $ was for court-ordered 2703(d) requests relating to crimes. The FBI was paying Twitter for info, not paying Twitter to receive info. The reason this is SOP is that the government cannot reasonably expect private companies to devote their resources to helping them solve crimes without compensation.

2703(d) order

If you're not buying any innocent explanation, then you've already decided what you want to believe.
So a 2703(d) order is where, for example, the FBI apprehends a person in possession of child pornography and finds that the person used Twitter DMs to link up with the supplier of the images, then gets a subpoena for that person’s direct messages, then they reimburse twitter for having someone collect, collate, and turn over data which may allow them to, for example, build a case against child pornographers?

For the 15th Time...The FBI sat on the laptop and suppressed any evidence of its existence and said it was a Russian conspiracy.
They were protecting a Prez candidate and influencing an election.
Those are facts.

Facts haven't mattered in a loooooong time. Feelings are what's important.

We could fix the supply chain problem by cutting off the little entitled punks of generation Z that seem to have unlimited funds to stay at home rather than work. 50 years ago, when I didn't have a job, it was tough sh!t, go to work or go hungry. Now they get unlimited video gaming time, food, shelter from mommy and daddy and money from uncle sam. Spoiled ass bunch of losers.

I'm no expert but that's how I understand it

I find it hard to believe that disbursement of any payment like that could be approved without the corresponding order and invoice from Twitter attached. I don’t think FBI field agents get handed a checkbook with unilateral authority to draw on government funds, but I could be wrong about that.

Assuming that’s true, either a lot of people at DOJ are in on it and not one single person reported it to the inspector general (possible but not especially likely), at least one magistrate judge is in on it (same), or it’s just another example of right wing media getting people’s Jimmies rustled over something that’s not only commonplace but provides a net benefit (which is something we see on a monthly basis, at this point).

Do we know how much the FBI paid previous years or especially election years? I'd have to say if the amount consistent then there is no correlation....if it suddenly spike during that time when conservatives were censored....and line can be drawn between the 2...it's take a good legal team but it could be done

Other automakers aren't down nearly as much. Seems like the most obvious explanation is that Elon has scared away investors with his Twitter shenanigans. He's also been selling large stakes in Tesla, which is probably freaking some investors out.
Or of course it could be that the more invested in EV the vehicle manufacturer is the more their stock is tanking 🤷🏻‍♂️

I'm really curious. I haven't seen opinions about yhe $ amount. Maybe I should ask on Twitter

The majority of the parts for teslas come from china and they are having major issues getting parts. I don’t know how much of other manufacturers get out of China. Look for Tesla to go much lower for the near future. Batteries are going to be a major issue shortly. China’s COVID lockdowns have all but shut down lithium mining.

Did we not learn anything about the 3 letter heads , the upper leadership and or the amount of sheeple support that had / have in the last 8 years ?

Being ethically compromised to the point of being capable of a thing isn’t a substitute for evidence that they actually did the thing.

Is the Tesla stock falling to protest Musk or due to legit financial concerns? Unit sales have never been better, it seems.

Stock has been wildly overpriced for a while. The valuations for Tesla have fallen like many Tech companies. Higher interest rates haven't helped either.

With all that being said, Teslas are mainly driven by liberals. Musk's behavior ain't helping. I think more and more investors question whether Musk can properly monetize Tesla....

The FBI and CIA don't deserve the benefit of the doubt. I'd say that I hope there's an investigation but the people in charge of that also don't deserve the benefit of the doubt. Tough place to be in.

What current employee of the FBI has committed past crimes?
FBI in general has a history of employing those who commit crimes.... And after the Whitmer kidnapping scandal. That history doesn't matter.. Just because people weren't charged it doesn't mean a crime wasn't committed

I've given you repeated opportunity to respond to the facts, you've declined.

Our agencies acted as they accused Russia; they purposely sought to influence the 2020 election, and did so by lying outright to the media companies - already antagonistic toward Trump - and led them to conclude the laptop was a Russian hack/leak operation. That FBI paid them is of no consequence; that FBI sought to determine the presidency via a propaganda operation is the point. It highlights that our own agencies are far more dangerous than our foreign adversaries.

Show me the critical piece I'm missing and I'll admit my error. Otherwise...

Dead on.

Everyone knows our government does it in other countries, so why do they have so much trouble believing that our government does it here as well?

They can't handle the truth because it would make them admit to election interference and bring to question $81M votes. The FBI and I'm sure some other agencies have put the fingers all over our elections. Facts don't matter. We are no better than a 3rd world country and their lemmings are ok with it. Just like they were ok with Twitter banning conservatives.
