RIP Twitter

What does making the algorithms open source mean?
Open source code. Your software source code is published in the public domain. Many Linux versions are open source

Honestly this is likely a bad idea as it could lead to exploitation I think. But I do think he’s smart enough to find a balance.

Thanks, you and Huff.

How would/could it be exploited?

What on earth are you talking about? The wild ass **** that gets attributed to me daily....

I thought I saw you say this: “Has the right here flipped flopped back to private companies being able to do what they want with their business?”

Every one of them like that? “Not all” is kind of vague. Not familiar with Ms (I assume) Perez’s book, so I’ll take your word that it’s a straightforward romance novel that is integral in education.
According to reviews that particular bok is very graphic and describes borderline adult child abuse/rape...so if true i can see why its being pulled and not for the the race of the characters

That was my thought as well, but I'm admittedly not an I/T guy.

just spitballin' here but he may be referring to the algorithms used for flagging content -- so people could see where the biases lie

also for what gets promoted, becomes "trending" etc

Hmmm... did I say that? No, I don't believe I did...

It is fair to point out that in the last few years, conservatives have become very sensitive to literature which depicts acts of racism by white people - even when those books are 170 year old classics such as "Uncle Tom's Cabin" by Harriet Beecher Stowe. I understand that you probably aren't familiar with that book either, but it actually did have an impact on attitudes toward African-Americans and slavery. To ban such a book now, is just ridiculous... but Republicans want to do it
Uncle Tom’s Cabin is the book where Tom is the Samuel Jacksonesque Django self-hating Uncle Ruckus starter kit? Or is that what period dime store comic books did with the character? Are you this condescending and deigning with people whose opinions you actually respect? 😏

I'm claiming victory on a long battle we fought here on VN. We want the government's involvement in social platforms limited, and we do not want to remove section 230 because it would ruin the internet. Once again, the free market has solved a problem that didn't seem solvable, and it did it without ruining the internet.

Wow..this will open some eyes and create some push for why this occurs across many platforms. If he so desires to publicly speak on it.

How does that mean I think twitter is going to start censoring liberals?
