RIP Twitter

**** him he should keep his nose out of their rights . How’s that ?
It's a start... but Republicans in the House of Representatives clearly have a double standard for themselves vs Democrats on the topic of free speech. Kevin McCarthy says basically the same things that Democrats have said in the past, and when he shows up for a GOP House meeting .... he gets a standing ovation. It's ridiculous.

my bad I misread it . I apologize. But I’m not a conservative in the traditional sense . I was all in at one time as a Democrat until the party just went way too far . I’ll never be all in on another one no matter what their stance is .

No... Wait. A conservative billionaire just bought Twitter...

Who's the chick in the metal band?
Elon is about as far from conservative as you can get on most topics, though he is a complicated individual against the backdrop of the binary US political "spectrum". Just consider he is married to Grimes of all people lol. I was a fan of hers well before Elon and always wondered..."wtf" 😅 2 crazy and very *very* open thinkers to say the least. Really... "out there" to say it softly.

He considers himself socially liberal and fiscally conservative. Some would simply consider him a technocrat, which may be a more appropriate lens to view him through...along with a lot of Silicon Valley or tech types.

Leans left:
- Pro-choice
- Supports EV and taxes on carbon emissions
- Universal basic income
- Supported Andrew Yang (D) in 2020
- Climate change
- Estate taxes
- Regulatory (government) oversight of A.I.
- Favors all-inclusive 40% tax

Leans right:
- More conservative opinions on COVID, when it began at least
- Anti public transportation
- In many ways agrees with less government

Somewhere in-between:

- Free speech absolutist - take this as you will, not liberal or conservative. More of a hardcore internet-style opinion, wanting something equal to 4chan/8chan, minus the child porn and public shooting videos, other illegal things he says he would not allow.

-Making humans multiplanetary. Not sure if this is liberal on conservative, very much futurist.

I've always been intrigued by Elon, mostly for being such an open, progressive thinker. He's gone against the traditional energy and car titans for so long. Spoken to the facts of this planet being finite and the need to get off it at some point. He's questioned a lot of standards and pressed technology as a solution to many issues. His biography is very interesting.

That all said, I Stan for no one (except coach Hype 😁) and he is human.

In other words an enigma. Everyone throws one another into an ideological box. You are thrown out of one box and into the other ad nauseam depending on the flavor of the moment. Our successful future lies in pragmatism of where we are at the moment.

Elon Musk's outspoken opposition to the COVID lockdown from March 16th to May 4th of 2020, and his stances against mask and vaccine mandates since then, probably have left the public with a skewed impression of his political leanings. You are right, he is not a conservative.

It’s not about moderation. It’s a bunch of ******* Nancies who are melting down because they believe certain people will no longer be banned for sharing thoughts that go against the collective political persuasions of Silicon Valley.
Ding ding ding!

It was a joke.

The media spent a couple of weeks trying to cancel him for saying that woke-ness is a brain virus that should be eradicated. He bought twitter, wokeness's cancel engine.

It can just mean an aversion to something. The definition isn't restricted to "fear". Photophobia isn't the fear of light, it's the aversion to light.

Instead of making it into an erroneous semantic battle, just take the word as the poster intends it. He's obviously talking about people who express that they don't like gays or make fun of gays. That's the point.

Gays aren’t allowed to be “made fun of”? Don’t tell comedians, even gay ones!

Is Federal Censorship Coming? Biden Admin Creating ‘Disinformation Governance Board’: Report

After Joe Biden was declared the winner of the 2020 presidential election, independent journalist Glenn Greenwald predicted that Democrats would use the force of the government to crack down on conservative reporting under the guise of combatting “national security” threats.

Now President Biden’s Department of Homeland Security is reportedly working to create a “disinformation governance board” to counter what they determine to be false information relating to national security.

On Wednesday, Politico reported that DHS is creating the board “to coordinate countering misinformation related to homeland security, focused specifically on irregular migration and Russia.”

Yeah, about those “double standards”, this little pos weasel says “hold my beer”. So rich this guy is now concerned about disinformation and free speech. Funny how that works.

The more I think about this, Elon is a check to what Soros has been pushing for years. I’m not saying he is the exact opposite of Soros. But the left gets so bent when things don’t go their way.

Think about the reaction of the right to losing the 2020 Presidential Election ... for the last 16 months and counting. Then we can talk about this "so bent when things don't go their way," business.

He didn’t lose. Have we found out about the leaking water pipe in Georgia yet?
