RIP Twitter

As an admitted liberal (most of the time) count me amongst those who couldn’t care less about Elon Musk buying Twitter. I’m in favor of giving every person a platform to show everyone exactly how dumb they are.

I just don’t really see the big deal about Musk buying Twitter. I mean good for him I guess. I think everyone should be able to say whatever they want. But the meltdowns on the left and seemingly huge victories on the right about it is puzzling.

I don’t understand the freak out either. Any democrat scared of Trump being reinstated on Twitter has it all wrong imo. It’s hard to say for sure, but I believe without Twitter they very well may be currently suffering through his second term. Trump gave us a window into his streaming consciousness and earned the largest negative vote ever. I say don’t censor anything, let everyone stand on their own merits.

Now you’re showing your true stupidity. It wasn’t about Trump as much as it was his policies and how he exposed the left for to corrupt morons they are. Triggering folks like you was a bonus. So go rub Joe’s legs and tell him how grateful you are for record inflation, being on the cusp of a recession, wide open borders, killing American soldiers, running cover for his crackhead son, and all of sudden trying to silence those that oppose their actual misinformation. Meh, there’s plenty of tribalism on both sides. The left tends to be more vocal but all in all I believe the dumbassery is 50/50. I agree with you on the Twitter thing. It’s a bunch of nothing. I’ve said from the beginning that a business should be able to do whatever they want but it’s often stupid to take a stand. Twitter trying to silence one side was very much like the bakery that refused to make a wedding cake for a gay wedding. Ultimately their right to do so but a really stupid move.

Trump was the most polarizing political figure in modern American history.

No one voted for Biden. They were simply votes against Trump. I know many people who normal abstain from voting who voted in 2020 to cast their referendum on Trump (for and against). People forget that Trump received more than 11.2 million more votes in 2020 than 2016.
