Is Federal Censorship Coming? Biden Admin Creating ‘Disinformation Governance Board’: Report

After Joe Biden was declared the winner of the 2020 presidential election, independent journalist Glenn Greenwald predicted that Democrats would use the force of the government to crack down on conservative reporting under the guise of combatting “national security” threats.

Now President Biden’s Department of Homeland Security is reportedly working to create a “disinformation governance board” to counter what they determine to be false information relating to national security.

On Wednesday, Politico reported that DHS is creating the board “to coordinate countering misinformation related to homeland security, focused specifically on irregular migration and Russia.”

Does this mean they are going to out the Biden administration for shipping illegals to states in the middle of the night type irregular migration or naw?

I wonder if any of the liberal woksters have stopped and looked at what happened to South Africa when the liberals won and the whites were shoved out to sea? America got Elon Musk, South Africa got tribalism and poverty mixed with some crime, like we are seeing in major US cities. History always repeats itself.

This is hilarious. My life long buddy who is an OSU professor is the me. He has done pride marches and civil rights rallies. He can’t understand the non binary thing though and Muslims scare him because they are very anti woman rights and gay rights in most Muslim led countries not named UAE. He is now an outcast and doesn’t even vote anymore.

LOL and the left is thinking about dragging this man in front of congress ? You should probably just leave the GenX’er that grew up poor and is now the planets richest man alone . That was a solid troll on AOC . She doesn’t have the brain cells or a tough enough skin to be trying a dig a him .

Conservatives have changed a great deal in the last 13 years, in my view. They went way further right on immigration. They went further right on the police state. They barely even pretend to be for limited government anymore. They're not willing to swallow any and every war (which is good) anymore. I mean, look at gay rights. It went from a big issue to something that isn't really even discussed anymore. The expressed attitudes have completely changed. These are dramatic changes.

I am not sure they got more to the right as much as they become much more of a horseshoe. Particularly with populism not taking over the GOP.

The police state, government spending, personal responsibility, healthcare, and (lack of) free markets are the areas of change most striking.

I "suffer" through the extreme ends of the spectrum in the PF for only two reasons. There are a group of posters who offer content that i find interesting. And for some inexplicable reason, I have a fondness for the lovable losers who frequent this forum.
I'll have you know I'll be OUTRAGED if you leave me off the lovable losers list or if you include me on said list!!!!!!

That is what Twitter is like, honestly. lol

So wrong.

Immigration: After what the Dems did to Reagan. Just repeats ad nauseam. Lawful and moderated immigration has always been welcomed.
Police State: Not even sure what you are referencing other than some push by Rhinos for DHS
War: Is this some new phenomena and a bad thing? Being labeled as a Neocon decades ago by the left and all the sudden cheering the demise of Putin, so much so that now we have Neolibs.
Gay Rights: Live and Let Live...but no dont condone marriage, which is incidentally an economic tax issue, and could be handled other ways.
To think that conservatives have moved, yes. But to not see the dramatic movement by the left of wokism, unfettered illegal immigration and no national borders, Fed takeover of energy, HC, or whatever. One can see the Dem party has shifted so far to socialism and open borders that negate any comparison.

It would have helped if she campaigned in the Midwest instead of taking it for granted, but I digress.

I joke around a lot but there are some that consider themselves true elitists .. shes one of them , and it shows up often from her .

Once you go far enough to the right you come back around again. Same thing is happening on the far left right now. I'm assuming you meant to say populism is now taking a firm plurality in the GOP. It is firmly entrenched in the far left, and is actively trying to push many of us out.

Horseshoe theory is absolutely a thing, and it is driving political discourse right now at the expense of liberalism (classical liberalism, on both the right and left, before y'all start yelling at me).
