False. People on the right have more of a voice on Twitter than anywhere else.
I doubt anybody would make the algorithm public, in their position. Do you think Musk will?
And not sure what any of this has to do with communism.
In the American lense, maybe. Our left is barely right-leaning centrist when viewed in comparison to our peer countries. Bernie may be global center.
LOL.
Remember how I told y'all 1000x that government shouldn't interfere, that we need section 230 for good reason, and that a market solution is preferable, and all of this is usually what conservatives profess to believe?....
Amazing how the market solved it without having to ruin the internet, right? Conservatives should have stuck to their principles on this. It's such a disappointing look and just one more reason why I no longer am a right-leaning libertarian.
Which ones? Did conservatives always believe that a monolithic industry consisting of hive-mind corporations ought to be able to collude and conspire to form a monopoly and outright own the "de-facto town square"? That's not a belief that I've ever held. Remember when Twitter's competitor (can't remember the name) got banned on several different platforms including the apple store and google store simultaneously? Can you, with a straight face, tell me that was not collusion?
Twitter founder Jack Dorsey Reverses Course and says he AGREES with Elon Musk that Trump's account should be reinstated and calls it a Mistaken 'business decision'
Twitter co-founder Jack Dorsey has said he agrees with Elon Musk's decision to reverse a ban on Donald Trump on the platform - despite Dorsey being CEO when the decision was made.
Musk, who is in the process of completing his $44 billion acquisition of Twitter, on Tuesday revealed he intended to revoke the ban, calling it 'a morally bad decision and foolish in the extreme'.
The Tesla founder said Dorsey, who was CEO until November 2021, agreed with him.
'I do agree,' Dorsey tweeted, pointing out that he supported bans for sharing content such as child sexual exploitation (CSE), but not generally.
Twitter founder Jack Dorsey now says he AGREES with Elon Musk about reinstating Trump | Daily Mail Online
Sure......LOL. No, they are not of the same ilk at all. This will sound like snobbery but here goes .... the Q Anon crowd buys their clothes at Target and Walmart. The woke crowd shops at Sak's Fifth Avenue and Nordstrom.
You know it's true,,, In the words of Peter Strzok, in a text to his mistress Lisa Page :
"I was in Walmart last night ... You could smell the Trump voters." LOL.
Qanon isn't real.Just doing some simple math. There are 290m accounts. I'm seeing that as of 2016, Twitter had suspended 350k accounts (seems mostly due to ISIL/terrorism ties). They did another 166k at the end of 2018 for "promoting terrorism", unclear whether it's domestic or not, and then we've got the 70k Qanon guys and then however many famous conservatives (a hundred?). So if we just say 25% of accounts are conservative and ALL of those 166k and the 70k are conservatives (ridiculous assumption) that shouldn't be suspended (another ridiculous assumption), we're only talking about 3 out of every 1,000 conservatives accounts getting suspended, and you have to consider that a lot of those accounts are accounting for multiple suspensions. So that's on the high end. If 2/3 of those people actually deserve to be censored (violated legitimate terms of service, like posting someone's ph# or whatever), then you're talking about 1 out of 1,000.
All that being said, I don't know what other numbers are out there so I can't be sure there isn't something significant missing here.
