You're starting to overstep your boundaries here Buckeye. But I understand. We are all fans of our team, and ultimately we want people to respect our team.

For you, it must be very tough to go all the way to winning the National Championship and STILL have only a handful of people respect your program.

I mean....11 point favorites over unranked VA Tech? Even Vegas isn't buying it.

Rankings have nothing to do with point spreads. I also don't need you to respect the program. Record speaks for itself

As I have stated previously they will make the playoffs. After that it's a crapshoot. Hopefully we are facing Tennessee this season in the playoffs. Assuming they can get by Vandy.

No dude, you're being a dick. It's ok to talk football, it's even ok to point out the past 7 years of pain for UT football, but you have been trashing them in almost every post. You should have a touch more respect for a fellow top ten all time program.

OSU is great and my pick to repeat as champs. If they played in the SEC this year, they would still be my favorite to win the title, BUT they would lose at least one game.

And also on another one of your smartass quips, go ahead and write this down/ book it/ frame it/ whatever: UT wins a title in the next 5 years.

It's funny I am being a "dick" for making points in discussions. I don't trash them in every post I respond to people. I understand the truth can be painful.
I actually have a lot of respect for Tennessee and many of their fans. Seems a lot on here are whiny babies and don't like differing opinions. All good though and GO BUCKS!

Also glad you are confident about them winning it all in the next 5 years. You are most likely wrong but that is what being a fan is about.

You're not "making points" when you say things like "if yall get by Vandy." If you're attempting to be an intelligent, objective football fan of another team then you would be intelligent enough to know that Vandy is back to being terrible. And "getting by them" isn't a concern for anyone.

But let's be honest, that's not the case here. You're another bandwagon jumping prick who randomly came out of the bushes when your overrated program (who rarely plays a team that has a pulse) finally won something. Your Buckeyes were impressive in the Playoffs, but when every week you're able to sit your starters in the 3rd quarter because the team you're playing is terrible, you should be post-season ready.

But I'm digressing. It's just weird to me that I never saw you, or any other posters here when you garbage team was 6-6 and losing to 6-6 Florida in the post-season. Or when VA Tech put you in your rightful place in 2014. You were nowhere to be found.

That's a typical Buckeye fan though. It's awesome how randomly there's a new Buckeye fan calling the Paul Finebaum show, calling into sports radio shows, posting on VN, etc etc. every day now. What a coincidence!

Did you not watch the Tennessee-Vandy game the last 3 seasons? My bad if you missed it. Also you are right losing to a bad Florida team has been bothering me for years. I wanted to come to a place where other fans have experience losing to them.

I have explained in other posts why I am here. It has nothing to do with needling Tennesssee Fans. I do have good discussions with quite a few of the people here. Some maybe like yourself don't like it. It's okay.

I don't mind it at all. I've actually had a fair amount of positive interaction with you. I don't know what's happened lately, you used to surprise me by being the only cool Buckeye fan I've interacted with. I guess now your true colors are finally showing.

And I guess I have to reiterate about Vandy. Yes you watched the last 3 years, 2 of which were the 2 best years in Vandy football history. Coincidentally, the were playing us during the worst years in UT history. That is not the case anymore.

But you already know all that. You're just running out of material.

I play to my audience. I am pretty cool until it starts to get dirty. You can look back at this thread and see I didn't start it. That is neither here or there though.
It's all good. Like you said I have had plenty of positive interactions here at VN and I will continue to. If people get "upset" cause I call it like I see it then oh well.

Let's be honest the last decade of Vol football has given me plenty of material.

Florida announced two starting QB's for the first game. Either they have 2 really good QB's or 2 mediocre QB's and they can't decide which one is worse. My thought is the latter.

Oh, and no way Florida beats their better cousin this year.
