I wonder how close Nichols and Hubbs are to Chris Jones. Funny how CJ has Auburn in his favorites now. Could very quickly become a very good team.
That would be sickening to see as a UT fan. If auburn pulled those 3 however I'd be convicted of some wrong doing haha.
Jones went to melrose, I doubt him and hubbs even know each other, DC is about 2 hours from Memphis.
As far as Nichols not too sure, never heard any mention.

I assume you know Barbee played for Calipari, coached for him and considers him a mentor. I am sure he knows how to cut a few corners and bend a few rules. Based on Calipari's ability to pull rabbits out of hats, I wouldn't be surprised if Barbee can work a trick or too.
Too bad for them Sullivan and Chubb will be seniors THIS year.Auburn would instantly become a very good team with:
C. Jones
Hubbs
Nichols
F. Sullivan
R. Chubb
with a solid bench with experience

Although a team of...
Jones
Denson/Jordan Price
Hubbs
Nichols
Dixon-Tatum (Juco C)
...would still be pretty good.
I will admit I know absolutely nothing of Auburn basketball other than they are on our schedule every year and usually an easy W for us. I was just looking at last year's roster and the number the players put up. I'm just curious at what makes them so attractive to have 2 top 2013 recruits and C. Jones as one of their favorites.
Well they are one of the few schools that Hubbs is "definitely visiting." So I'd say they have a legitimate shot at him.^ this
For Nichols and hubbs you can also point to assistant coach miller though.
Like I've said a million times, I'd be floored if either went there. Putting them on a list with 6 other schools, and actually seriously considering them as a choice are 2 very different things.

Auburn's unwavering commitment to the basketball program was proudly put on display when they constructed the sky box suites to overlook the parking lot in an effort to enhance the tailgating experience instead of having them face, you know...the court. All you need to know about Auburn basketball. Pretty sad when you consider that they can make a legitimate claim to being the alma mater of one of the greatest basketball players of all time.
