Robert Hubbs: Underachiever in the making or is it coaching?

Im sorry but I have. To say they are above criticism is also incorrect. For Hubbs to come in the game and immediately start jacking up shots when he cant hit the broad side of a barn is inexcusable. A lot of people were thrilled with Thompson. Didn't see that either. I saw a guy who refused to get on the floor and go after the basketball despite multiple opportunities to do so.

I didn't say they were above criticism, but I do think they should deserve it b4 it starts. FYI Hubbs shot it twice Saturday, so jacking it up is more ignorance.

Hes 4th on the team in FGA and is hitting a blistering 31%. Hes actually a downgrade from what Skylar Mcbee was last year.

I want to make this point again because the Mcbee haters are some of the most ardent martin supporters. Skylar Mcbee was more productive last year than Martins "5 Star superstud" freshman has been this year.

And most rational folks would say he is struggling with his shot, not he just isn' any good. But I'm sure this will fall on deaf ears so proceed.....

But I thought it was ignorance? 4th in shot attempts, only 2 behind 3rd.

You sure about that? Hubbs averages more than McBee did with less minutes and about the same shooting percentages.

So, wouldn't that be a negative considering the shooting percentage and all. More of a bad thing is a good thing? I don't want to insult your intelligence but come on.

There is a reason Coach K wanted Hubbs... Doesn't matter what CCM does BOP will critize it. It's funny we never see him say anything after a win...same goes with 1987vol and UTvolwarrior98 or whatever his name is. I haven't seen any of them after a win. But after a loss you see them immediately because they make 2 threads a piece that could easily have been posted in the game thread. But they thing that people actually want to read their garbage.

Hubbs is taking time to adjust to eh college game. The players are bigger and faster.

Take for instance, the other day, he lobbed a pass that was knocked out of bounds. You do not get away with that pass in college basketball.. In high school, that was an easy pass to make.

He is far from being a one and done or two and done player.

I see potential in AJ, Thompson, and Hubbs. I would like to see them grow as players in the next few years.

What the **** are you smoking?

Scoring more points off of a 30% shooting percentage is actually a negative. More bad shots, more misses. Now if it was a good shooting percentage, it would be a positive. You don't understand basketball or math one, likely both.

Call me crazy but I think AJ has the most upside of them all. All 3 have pro potential with their size and athleticism. It's just up to CCM and them to develop and build on top of their talent.

Ive never seen a win that was significant. All they were was fool's gold in bad seasons. This year I haven't even seen one that was worth getting excited about for the moment.

Jabari Parker is going to be the #1 pick, even if he didn't go to school. He's a special player and you can already tell he will impact an NBA team's roster

Ok so why do you come around when we lose but you can't when we win? That's all I'm asking.
