Romney campaign caught lying, red handed

This may be the straw that hands Obama the election unless something major happens, this is going to be a big win for Obama.

Obama is pulling ahead in the polls. Michigan has been moved from, a toss up to Obama.
Obama is hitting that 49-50% point in the polls.

RCP is RCP electoral count today is Obama 237 Romney 191 with 110 tossups, The latest state polls out, the NBC/WSJ/Marist poll has Obama leading in :

Florida 49%- 44%

Ohio 50%-43%

Virginia 49%-44%

It is looking like 4 more years of Obama.
you believe that polling?

Interestingly, Romney has managed to make the economy a tertiatry issue this week. Well done.

It's only tertiary in the lefty driven press. You're not senseless or enamored enough to buy that voters see any issue but the one? That might be why you buy the polling.

you believe that polling?

It's amazing that either side points to polls at all right now. Every poll I've seen worth a damn has the race anywhere from Romney by 2 to Obama by 5 and most are withing the MOE.

you believe that polling?

Yes sir I do.
I think Romney has had a bad couple of weeks.
The GOP convention did not give him a bounce in the polls.
The Dem convention gave Obama a bounce in every poll I have looked at.

Romney has not looked presidential in the Embassy riots/ killings. I think that will add to Obamas lead.

I feel some kind of major event will have to happen to sway voters or Obama will win big.

From all the info I can gather there are very few voters who have not made up their minds. That is going to make it tougher for Mitt to pass Obama.

I may be totally wrong.

There is no major event that will overtake the disaster of that is the economy. The undeniable fact that Obama actually exacerbated the problem via his government as THE solution is a bigger problem than any polls are taking into account.

That's nonsensical. It sounds as though you are saying the polls are wrong because the people are making up their minds for the wrong reasons.

The polls arent wrong.

Rasmussen has Romney leading.

Of course, you will say...

RCP has electoral college right now as Obama 237; Romney 191.

Likely Obama they have at another 30. That would mean he would need to win only one of Conn., Mich., Minn., New Mexico, Ore., Pa., Colo., Fla., Iowa, Nev., New Hampshire, N.C., Oh., Va., or Wisconsin.

In other words, Romney has to run the entire table and win ALL of those states.

Ouch.

I will say that Rasmussen is the only one.

Fox: Obama + 5
Gallup: Obama + 6
CNN: Obama + 6

If you do the research, you will see that CNN and Gallup are both over sampling democrats. And that CNN is only factoring in 6% indies. 6 percent?

They are also basing their democrat numbers on 2008 turn outs which many believe wont be even close to the turn out in 2012.

Rasmussen (not Fox) has him at plus 5 and it is the most realistic sampling breakdown with about 27% indies.

LG still droning on about Romney's mistimed statement while facts are coming out that the admin was warned about the attacks and did nothing. Shocking I tell you

seems pretty desperate by the Dems to twist dead Americans into an attack on Romney

I'm saying the polling is garbage as it always has been. They make news with idiots because they don't have the capacity to see through them. They continue to make headlines because they do sway voters and voter turnout.

I'll say it again - unless Obama is over 50% in all the swing states everything is in play. There is no trend right now.

You assume that people feel Romney is the answer. Most people do not feel this way. Thus, Romney is not gaining the ground you would conventionally thing in an election with this kind of economy for the incumbent.
