Ron Paul Can't Win

Voting 3rd party is not a waste.

You may not elect your candidate this time, but it is a process. The way the laws are rigged, any 3pc is at a severe disadvantage in terms of funding, ballot access, etc. The only way for them to get a (more) level playing field is to get x% of the vote (cant remember the exact percentage) in this election for the next election.

Also, it tells the establishment parties that we don't love them anymore. The GOP still clings to this idea that they can run anyone and we will vote for them simply because they are not the Dem. We have to tell them that this is not true. Otherwise we will keep getting the same crap over and over.

Anyone with half a brain could tell that Obama's policies and ideas were crap. But he won. He did so because a) he wasn't GWB and b) he is black (here comes the hate, but I know several people who voted for him because they thought it would be good for a black man to be president. too bad it wasn't important to them that the right man be president.) My point is, the Dems aren't doing any better in the candidate dept lately either (dole, kerry).

If you don't like the status quo, then you MUST vote for something else. That something else is a 3pc.

The problem with voting the lesser of two evils is that you are still voting for evil.

Nobody else sees the hypocrisy. The Paultards are just making this stuff up.

Nobody else sees the coordination, the Paulbots are just making this stuff up.

2008, I saw the systematic disenfranchisment of Ron Paul supporters at every stage of the process on the way to the state convention here in Georgia.

Has the Virginia GOP ever required a loyalty oath to vote in the primaries before?

This doesn't surprise me. When you have a candidate (Newt) say that he is in favor of kicking out judges and gets a standing ovation, this is the kind of nonsense that happens. The GOP is actively participating in voter suppression and intimidation. No difference than the Democrats using the New Black Panthers at voting locations.

Now we see what the GOP is really all about. They are not about freedom, The Constitution or the rule of law.

It's always a conspiracy.

I hate that being thrown around as much as the word "sheeple"

con·spir·a·cy

- noun, plural -cies
1. act of plotting
2. evil or surreptitious plan formulated in secret by two or more persons [\b]
3. agreement by two or more persons to commit a wrongful act

if 2 people in a position of power in VA decided to do this to limit participation, then, yes, it was.

sort of makes you wonder why Ron Paul even bothers trying to seek the Republican nomination, doesn't it? He went through this in 2008 and is going through it again. The man is either a glutton for punishment or he's on a mission to destroy the GOP as it's currently constructed. That's not necessarily a bad thing.

The problem with RP is his sycophantic supporters. Thin-skinned as Obama fans and as obnoxious as OWS protesters defecating on police cars. They act as if RP is the second coming of Christ and will not tolerate any criticism of their messiah.

Got it, you hate the Constitution and all it stands for... That's why most RP supporters are so fanatical, we think we've strayed too far from what the Founders intended and not for the better.

right, as a veteran, I hate the Constitution. You just provided the perfect example of why I don't like many RP supporters, because if you're not on board with Ron Paul, then you're a freedom hating douchebag.

get over yourselves
