Ron Paul Can't Win

I don't think the moderates have enough disdain for Obama to vote against him. They would just sit home, if anything.

Not saying no/zero moderates would vote for Romney, but it won't be enough to tip the election in his favor.

I disagree. O was supposed to save the middle class, he hasnt and has no plans. People see that. In 2008 they also thought he was a good leader, now thats been proven false. They also thought Joe Biden was a great running mate, now he is viewed as a liability.

Currently he is running neck and neck with multiple R candidates and has a 50/50 chance of re-election on intrade. At this point of the elcetion, he should be doing much better than those polls and odds show.

60% dissapproval rate, 80% think country is on the wrong track, 65% dissapprove of his way he is handeling the economy (#1 issue) $4 gas projected this summer with $5 in major cities, Europe in a recession, denial of Keyston pipeline and stagnat UE rate, O has literally no chance.

Virginia is the nation’s 12th-largest state and its primary election takes place on March 6th – Super Tuesday. The absence of any other candidates on the ballot aside from Paul and Romney, including serial hypocrite Gingrich and counterfeit conservative Santorum, is sending ripple effects throughout key early voting states including South Carolina where Palmetto State voters now are concerned about how their vote will affect the nominating process going forward.

It's Over

if you can't get 10k signatures turned in by the deadline how do expect to be Pres? Shows that really only a couple are serious and could handle it

I change my mind a lot. But today, I'm definitely back on the Paul wagon. I don't agree with everything he says, but the fact of the matter is, he is the only one that doesn't want to expand government. Look at the NDAA, everyone supports it, in both parties. How is that possible? All under terrorism, which for me, plays right into the terrorists goal of causing overreaction.

I am not sure there is room. The amount of Paul supporters in this forum is astounding.

Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me.

I keep holding my breath, that some way, somehow, Ron Paul will make a surge. I didn't think he would make the final 3, but I believe he will after this weekend. Can he gain enough speed to take over Romney? I think Newt + Paul would be my prefered final two candidates.

I got in my RP2012 t shirt today, just how many days can I wear this around town?!

Found this picture rather amusing and this seemed like the most fitting thread in which to place it:

where did Paul stand on Reagan's aggressive engagement with the Soviet Union?

Driving on I-75 through Marietta/Cobb County today and I began to wonder how Newt Gingrich, Romney or Santorum would have handled a country shooting down an airliner with a sitting US congressman on it.
