Ron Paul Can't Win

I'm a little skeptical of this poll. Santorum's numbers are ridiculous. No way anybody's numbers can do that and be valid.

Paul is up, Gingrich is up, Romney is down. The ads critical of Romney for Bain and being a moderate flip flopper are taking their toll.

Probably too little, too late.

Wow, 31 flights to and from his home district since 2009. Stop the waste, Ron. Haven't you heard of Skype?

Sigh... and what is missing here? A frame of reference. How does Ron Paul's travel expenses match up to the Congressional average. Is 31 trips too many, average or below average? Is $52,000 above average or below average compared with other members of Congress?

And of course, he gets no credit for actually opening up the books and showing all of his expenses, while Bachman seemed to be given a pass.

I swear... what will be the next story? Ron Paul kills puppies?

Paul paid $51,972 for his government-rate flights between Washington and Houston between May 2009 and March 2011, or more than twice the $24,351 average airfare on Continental for travel between Washington and Houston.

49 flights over 22 months = Just over 2.2 flights per month

$51,972 - $24,351 = $27,621 of "waste and abuse"

$27,621/22 months = $1255.50 per month of "waste and abuse"

$1255.50/30 days = $41.85 of "waste and abuse" per day for Ron Paul

Yeah, Ron Paul is really shafting the taxpayers.

I challenge you to find another Congressman that can "waste" less than $42 a day. Really???

These debate really are not his thing. I just hope people look at facts compared to if a person can speak well, you see what that got us.

Agree, that is my hope as well. You have people so hooked on this whole warmongering mentality, and its killing this country at its very core.
