Ron Paul Can't Win

Because once they start talking Ron Paul, people tune out.

I can understand what you're saying. They are less likely to do a 10 minute segment on him, and I don't fault them for that, because they would simply be chasing the dollar. In this case they were talking about the R candidates collectively for an 8 minute segment, and RP wasn't mentioned one time. Surely they weren't afraid that mentioning his name would lead people to change the channel.

But theres nothing to say. Theres no drama, no mud slinging at the same level. If theyre going to talk rp, the only thing to discuss are his ideas, which ain't happening. They might as well omit him altogether

But why omit his favorability ratings when you are covering favorability ratings of the R candidates?

The fact that "conservatives" are going to Santorum now makes me want to throw up. Santorum will get destroyed in the general election.

Ron Paul went from being an outsider in 2008 to a legitimate candidate pulling some respectable poll numbers in 2012.

As more young people show interest in politics and as 3rd party politics are continued, I expect the numbers to go up.

Still a ways off before they have a legitimate chance at winning though.

mcCain sucked, but it didn't matter who got nominated in 2008. A weak economy and W fatigue were going to doom any Republican.

Yes, but the lessons haven't been learned obviously since they're about to send another weak candidate up against a should be extremely beatable Obama.

I think Romney could have won in 2008.

I believe the moderates would have turned to him because of his business background.
We needed a leader after being told of the banks failing. We had a community organizer and am old man who was saying how strong the fundamentals of our economy were to choose from.

As beatable as some consider him, I've already conceded that he'll be re-elected regardless of who runs against him.

Ron Paul, ‘the only candidate speaking of lost civil liberties and pending illegal wars’
Why does the media dismiss you if you speak about these things?

Ron Paul,

I saw a video yesterday where Santorum admitted to supporting Planned Parenthood. After seeing that, and the video where he tries to slam people wanting smaller government, I wonder how this guys still has supporters. Who are these people?

I'm trying to figure out this as well; I understand some of the more "conservatives" on the right don't like Romney and yeah he's in many ways Diet Obama, but what I can't get these same people are flocking to this idiot instead of Paul.

The only things I keep hearing are "Paul can't win" and "He's against the war!".
