Ron Paul Can't Win

remember what happened the last time the GOP tried to impeach a democrat president? They had the Constitution on their side then as well.

That was politics, pure and simple.... this is a little more concerning IMO. Regardless of the man's activities, he was an American citizen first and foremost... there are clear procedures that you follow before summarily executing him.

Hell, we even had Nuremberg for the most vile of the Nazi's before executing them.

was he "summarily executed" or was he a legitimate military target? I seem to remember there being a "capture or kill" order on Al-wacky's head and Ron Paul wasn't getting his panties in a wad over that.

There was a "capture or kill" placed on him so this is a moot point.

Just a thought - but I just don't see him being able to scale back our military presence i foreign countries to the degree he would like. He would still scale it back - but he would still have to pass such radical reform through the checks and balances, no?

SIAP, but for the record, just went on to an odds makers aggregate site, and Ron Paul is averaging about 20:1, a distant fourth behind Romney, Perry and Cain.

Anything Rush says doesn't usually hurt among the GOP base. Don't know of any other way to put this, but Rush also has enough sheep that if he came out pushing Paul on his show every day, he would probably gain some traction.

Never underestimate the importance of the AM radio dial with the Republican base.

Oh no doubt bro, I couldn't agree more. Rush does have alot of folks that follow him, it's just im not a Rush fan. :)

If everyone were to read Ron Paul's book; "The
Revolution, a manifesto," then he not only could
win, he would win.

It is short and sweet and not too complicated to
easily understand, only 180 pages.

what was Paul doing taking the populist approach to the mortgage crisis and siding with the "victims"?

I know he's not exactly enamored of the big banks, but after advocating for personal responsibility regarding health care and insurance, you'd have thought he'd be consistent
