I know it was a different era but if it wasn't for an injury Peyton was going to redshirt and Eli did redshirt at ole miss

If you wanna get technical when you say some stay you imply the plural sense , if you name one that means that one stays if you want to have a legit convo I will if you want to tit for tat I will but you call me a troll to begin with not a good start

If there’s any chance he decides to come back and use the extra year, it’s obviously the right decision and multiple elite QBs have done so

I didn’t ask you to name one . You just said some stay so I said who . I look at historical data not hope , that’s all I’m saying and you’re trying to drag this convo into the mud , you can’t name any that legit had top 10 , and you do realize I hope you’re right , right ? You said “who” and then said this. I can name multiple. But you still think that if he’s elite it won’t matter?

That’s a dumb opinion. Multiple elite QBs have done so and there’s numerous reasons he may decide to do so. Either way we should keep the option alive

Sure I can. Jake Locker, Carson Wentz, Baker Mayfield, Josh Allen, Justin Herbert, Will Levis, all could’ve been first round guys after there JR years. Many on that list had better JR seasons than SR years

All of those guys except Levis went top ten. Levis likely would have given the 2022 class was horrible and he had a better JR year than SR year like many on the list.

It’s impossible to know, but it’s likely everyone on that list would’ve went top 10 if they came out a year earlier. You asked for a list of guys who came back when they would’ve been top ten picks. You have it.

So why is it laughable to redshirt Nico? Your initial post was stupid.

Even with an injury there is nothing to gain. Moore or Shuler could hand the ball off or throw the short sideline screen for a game.

If I recall correctly, Peyton Manning weighed 194 when he became the QB starter in 1994. From what I understand Nico is about 216 at this moment but I can’t recall who I heard that from. My ex-BIL was 6’6” and weighed 220. He was so skinny he looked like he could hide behind a stop sign pole.
