Who cares? But do you really think that if a university, that has a 40k+ enrollment and brings in a ton of money, puts the effort and dedication toward making that next step as a legit D1 athletic program, strings together a few good years and continues a commitment to winning, wouldn’t have conferences wanting them to join? They would immediately be a better program and fit than Vandy.
They are 2-0 against the ACC this season.

Indeed. Major conferences routinely drop existing institutions for new ones all the time.

Clemson friend of mine tells me he heard rumors that USCe goes after Venables or Elliot hard.
Says one or both are looking to move on since Dabo is likely there for life.

Muschamp out? Really? Look I can see a coach hitting the big time and falling on his face the first go-round. CJP could be classified as just that. But Muschamp has been at FLA and now SCjr...encompassing how many years? 6-9? Sorry, either drop down a level or stick to doing what you do best as a DC. While I might give Chief grief for his many 3rd down fiascos he knew himself enough to say he never wanted to be HC. I really respect that... he knew what he was.....until he wasn't even that anymore.

I do respect Muschamp in that I'll never fault anyone for reaching for the ring or having ambition. But, hey, look.....after 6-9 years...dude...you need to consult with someone...or GTFO. He's basically in denial territory ..... give it up, be who you are, and be the best at it. HC isn't your thing....it wasn't at FLA and its not at SCjr.
