A 19 year old man in college should have better things to do than date a 16 year old girl in HS.

I highly doubt they started dating when she turned 16.

When he was 18, she was 15
When he was 17, she was 14
When he was 16, she was 13

You understand where I'm coming from on this.

Its sick and the only reason its not sick to you all is because its a chance he might come to Tennessee.

But if they had sexual relations before her age of consent he can be taken to court for statuatory rape.

I doubt that enough time has passed where he wouldn't be charged, I think back to that former HS football recruit that ended up going to jail because he had sex with a 14 year old when he was 18 and even though he was now 21 and she was 17 he was still charged with statuatory rape.

Am I the only person grossly disgusted by this?

I really need to get in contact with the police in Memphis where these acts probably took place and see what can be done.

We're talking about a kid in a dating relationship with an adult male.

I cant believe someone referred to her as his fiancee.

You're making a big deal out of nothing. I started dating my wife when she was 19 and I was 22. A couple of months earlier and she would have been 18. Six months earlier, and she would have been a senior in high school dating a guy who was out of college.

And you can't say she's a kid dating an adult. While it is technically true, it sounds like he's 33 and she's 12. When he was a senior and she was a sophmore, did you object to that? What are you going to do? Make a law that says seniors can only date other seniors and juniors? That's just imbecillic.

You have an overdeveloped sense of morality. It's only a 3 year difference. If that is not okay to you, what is? 18? He'd still technically be an adult. 17? Technically he'd turn 18 while she would still be 17. That would be an adult dating a kid, too. Just chill about it. It's neither immoral nor illegal, whether he transfers to UT or not.

A Senior shouldn't be dating a Sophmore anyways, poor parenting on the daughters part.

Terrico is already 19 I checked his birth date and that would have made him 18 while dating a 15 year old before she turned 16.

That is illegal & immoral.

Only immoral "Christians" would stand by and let this take place.

I'm not going to chill about it, there is a serious problem with a 16 year old girl being a 19 year old man's fiancee.
We aren't in covered wagon times everyone.

Once I verify a birthdate on the girl I'm contacting the Memphis Police Department in regards to this.

We're talking about a sick relationship going on when he was even 16 and she was 13.

It isnt illegal now because she is of age of consent but previously yes this was illegal.
