Wait... You heard this with your own ears? This is a direct, unedited quote from Nuke?I have heard similar rumors regarding Nuke. The problem was that at UF he was only guaranteed a spot to compete at WR, while UT made him promises that he would start and get far more playing time.
Again, how about some proof. A dissatisfied kid isn't "proof" either. I didn't accept it when it was Coleman... and won't accept it now. I'd like to see a quote from some point prior to his dissatisfaction that he was promised to start.... Matter of factly, he has started... and couldn't hold the position because he didn't play up to it so even if there were a promise it has been fulfilled.The problem with that is he hasn't earned it nor does he deserve it but he was promised it. It is a terrible recruiting pitch to promise kids playing time, just promise them they will see the field if they are the best player, but this staff in this last class did not do that. There is even talk down in Pahokee where UT is not well liked that they don't want there kids going there and this certainly won't help.
Interesting that these rumors seem to start and perpetuate from and on Gator sites.Also there is another rumor swirling that Teague is also not happy with his playing time and what he was promise when he switched his commitment. This is coming from a mod for a Gator site with excellent connections so I believe there has to be at least some truth to it.

This kid has gotten every opportunity to play and start. Frankly, he's yet to do anything that I'd miss or that can't easily be replaced by guys on the roster right NOW. In fact, he is probably standing in the way of guys who can do it better than him.
Oku for example is really beginning to be dangerous returning kicks. Again, how about some proof. A dissatisfied kid isn't "proof" either. This from a UF alum friend of mine;
Catch up on the Dunkley thing....
Okay, we all know that Chris Dunkley visited Tennessee this weekend. The reason he did is because there were rumors going around that they dropped him. The rumors of course were started because Dunkley wasn't going to visit (from his previous list) and the staff at Tennessee were pissed and started telling folks they dropped him because of off the field issues.
Now Dunkley took the visit and came away.....cold.
He also knows the deal with Nu'Keese as does everyone in Pahokee. Richardson hasn't been happy since the Florida game. The promises of instant playing time, starting, and being the next Reggie Bush of course never materialized and so Richardson has been telling everyone in Pahokee he was transferring since the Florida game. Richardson's aunt traveled up there to bring him home, not to console him and tell him to stick it out. My bet is that he still leaves at the end of the semester. They probably promised him more time with the ball and unless their schedule is that easy from here on out, I just don't see it happening.
I know for a fact they have called some schools to see if they are interested, as late as today. However, any thought of coming to Florida would be silly. He would have to sit out two years before playing and would be a junior. Knowing Nu'Keese, he would probably fore go that and just jump into the draft and try to make it. If he transfers, he should go JuCo and transfer where he wants after a year of being able to play.
From what I understand, he isn't the only freshman looking to transfer from Tennessee, we will have to stay tuned on that one.
Now Dunkley is ready to get the travel over with. I am hearing as Jason told you, that he is canceling his trip to USC and will visit this weekend at Bama for the LSU game. Then he will come to UF for the FSU game and then back again for the big Dec 12 weekend with his parents.
Speaking of transferring. At least two underclassmen at FSU are looking elsewhere and will likely leave, or so I heard today. AJ Alexander, the speedster from Pennsylvania isn't happy as well as Deonte Allen.
One thing I really noticed a couple of weeks ago was how silent it was on the recruiting trail when FSU didn't have a game on their bye week. When Tennessee had a bye week you heard about Lame Kiffin being everywhere and helicoptering in, same with Mark Richt. FSU's bye week and no news at all about their recruiting. That is telling in my opinion.
Good to from REX again. I haven't heard anything from him in a while. One of the people I use to look forward to reading. By the way REX using the term "handle" for Demon-vols name makes me think you have made more than one mortgage payment 10-4:thumbsup:
Kind of crappy of a friend to openly make fun of your coach IYAM (if you ask me).
ha ha! I guess that I did date myself a little bit. I wish someone could explain to me why its wrong to post something that generates conversation. that's why we're all here right?
I believe it's that everyone has an opinion or information and believes theirs is gold and everyone else opinion or information is dead wrong.
I like to hear it all and take all with a grain of salt.
