Rush Limbaugh has passed

The only people who give AF about Jerry Garcia are washed up, societally useless hippies.

If you rely on any earthly being to be a hero, you will be disappointed, and always able to find fault. It's a pandora's box for faulted people to point out the faults of faulted people.

in 20 years of P5 coaching he had two teams ranked in the top 10, the rest were teams that had 4-9 losses. You don't even have a clue what you are speaking of Evillawyerfakename
A+ detective skills once again there Ricky. You are proving once again that only the best and brightest are fit to be boys in blue.

Many should have also learned it the hard way with people like Trump, as well. I am obviously a supporter, but there's only so much man can do.

Hate breeds hate. Limbaugh made his living off sowing division and derision. Only fitting that so many would wish to line up to piss on his grave. Personally, I'm not glad he's dead, but I certainly don't mourn him. Some other derision sowing hate-monger will take his place I'm sure. There's no shortage of people on both sides looking to pick a fight.
Rush was SSDD and tame compared to the hate pouring out of my former party. Just look at the behavior of the left when Bush died. Shameful

That's 'annual'. All that shows is that in two years they had the highest grossing tour for that year. They're nowhere close to the top tours of all time.
"They only had the highest grossing tour in two years" is quite a bit different than "they had no impact," no?

I don't think anybody is arguing that TGD was bigger than The Rolling Stones or Michael Jackson.

My bad. 3rd and 5th highest grossing annual tours of all time, which is actually more impressive because it apples to apples comparison
again you have reading comprehension issues, it's not that either...the years were in order, they weren't even in the top 30 all time and they will be knocked off the list completely next year

Yes. Many confused idolizing the man with supporting the work he accomplished. I voted twice, and was a supporter of what he was doing in office. He was by no means a role model for me.

And it’s especially easy to reduce people to that level in an online environment. I posted it earlier, but some of the reactions to the deaths of RBG and Rush have definitely changed my opinion of some folks.

Agreed.
It’s best left unsaid.
I don’t care who it is.....I cannot think of anyone I dislike more the Nancy P......maybe Mitch McConnell.....either of them pass and I’m nothing but sad for their families. They’re political figures that have a different view than me. That doesn’t make them or their families available to be targets of hate.

yeah it's being an old man to not worship a one-hit wonder druggie loser who left his wife and children for a kentucky heroin addict and then told his fans to screw off while stealing money from his bandmates....what a hero :D

Who called him a hero? If I were you, wouldn't get into criticizing druggies with marital issues in a thread about Rush Limbaugh.

Edit: That probably didn't come across like I intended. I don't think the occasion of someone's passing is the appropriate time to bring that stuff up. It's bad form.

Pink and One Direction are also on that list. I wouldn't consider them to have impact. So I'd say they're pretty close to having no impact.

Edit: Go look at the other tours in those same years, as well as number of shows for those other tours. Claiming wins for those years is like UCF claiming that national title.

What do you mean by "GAF"? I wasn't a fan, but I appreciate who they were and to a small extent their music. Some of it is actually kind of fun to listen to every 5 years or so. It was a time/space thing that made them somewhat relevant. I do find it amusing that people who trash the Dead's music will stand in awe of 12 bar blues like that is something complex.

Question for you.
Were you aware of Rush and his exposure of Bill Clinton's fake-ness. If so, what were your thoughts (assuming Clinton was your man back then)?
