Russia Already Interfering With 2020 Election: Seeks to Re-Elect Trump

I don't think this is true and obviously, the Trump campaign doesn't either or else they wouldn't have required Stormy Daniels to sign a nondisclosure agreement. Your last line is classic cognitive dissonance. Trump University anyone? It was a total sham.

Trump just loves the leaders who do those things. He has a strange fascination with absolute dictatorial power.
It's almost like that is what he is after.
He is. After we win 2020 we are going to have some executive order action happen. The Supreme court will be dissolved and Trump will usher in a new era of God King rule. The House of Trump will be a dynasty. All you D's will be rounded up and given government jobs! You will be cleaning up your neighborhoods and working to lower your crime rates. There will also be free, I said FREE!!!, re-education camps where you and your kind can go learn something that matters so you can actually make a difference in life. Its all gonna be free for you.

Trump is worse.
And it's funny you mention lack of government transparency and oppression of the free press. Two Trump cornerstones.
Trump jailing the press? Man I missed that. I have to watch the news more. And if you think Trump is any less transparent then the previous administrations you are crazy. Trump is under a far bigger microscope then previous admins. Primarily bc he can’t but help and trip over his own penis. And if you are equating our level of .gov transparency, which we have a lot to improve on ourselves, to Russia, China, Nicaragua, or Cuba then you are bat **** crazy.

Many reasons. Mainly it's down to my choice to separate the personal life of the man from the Presidential policies of the man. Also has to do with the lack of a viable alternative. I think our two party system has sort of doomed us to these types of situations.
That didn't really help much.
You disapprove of his personal life....who doesn't?
You approve of his presidential policies.......many alternatives have/had the same policies.
You said nothing about how he conducts himself in office.

OMG. Nobody is more corrupt than Trump (he paid hush money to a porn star just before the 2016 election for crying out loud). Nobody panders harder to their base than Trump. He was touting prayer in public schools to evangelicals not long ago (there was a thread on it here). Nobody is more dishonest than Trump... whether you want to call it being "intellectually dishonest" or otherwise. You are so blinded by your own unconditional defense of Trump that you have created your own reality, where his flaws don't exist. You are categorically delusional... and we don't understand you, either.
A private citizen paying hush money is not what I'd consider corrupt. He is a panderer, as all politicians are, and I'm pretty sure I said that already. Of course he's got flaws, I'm not denying that at all. Most of the actions that he has taken as President have been sound. Especially when compared to Bush, Obama and Clinton. And he is certainly the lesser of two evils when compared to the current batch of Democratic contenders. Personally I want the government to be very restrained in it's use of authority, and Trump is no shining model of that wish. I'd support a Rand Paul type candidate over Trump in a heartbeat. If only third parties were viable. Sometimes I start to feel James Madison had the right of it when he spoke about the inescapable flaw of Democracies

The conduct is and can be less than dignified. None of the current Democratic canidates would come anywhere close to the policies that he's either supported or led. Or at least their public positions do not indicate that

The old saying goes "Trump has more people to sign NDA's than you can shake a stick at."

As many as Bloomberg? Do you think there's an accounting for the congressional slush fund to silence their misdeeds? NDAs seem to be a way of life, and it seems like insurance companies are big believers in them, too. I guess going the NDA protection route is just a little more official than the "I can't recall" approach. One thing I've definitely learned from the last few years is, if questioned, have a lot of amnesia.

What's a NDA?

I must have misspoken, let me try again. Trump has more people to sign NDA's than you can shake a stick at.

You are delusional. Was withdrawing from Syria and abandoning the Kurds sound? Was leveraging military aid to the Ukraine against their willingness to perform a campaign favor for him sound? Is his fiscal policy of out of control spending sound? And do you think paying hush money to strippers is all I can come up with on the corruption scale? Not by a long shot. Trump's charity foundation was forced to shut down and he and his kids are barred from sitting on the boards of any other charities for a reason. And look at his cabinet: he has filled it with self dealing and corrupt members such as Scott Pruitt, Ryan Zinke, Wilbur Ross, Betsey Devos and Elaine Chao. Good lord...

More than Bloomberg? I imagine congressional hush payments come with NDAs for recipients, Those protect the guy (or insuror) paying off the recipient. For the rest of us who can't afford hush payments, we have to go with amnesia or the fifth rather than "wouldn't you like to know?"

Yes I support us not intervening in Syria. I'd be glad if we stayed clear of the entire region, it's cost us so much blood as well as expense to the tax payer. The only Middle Eastern country that I'm bothered with is Iran, because I believe they have the capacity and desire to harm us in the near future. And yes on Ukraine as well, it's somewhat regrettable but they are firmly within the Russian sphere of influence and short of war with the Russians nothing will change that. I think we'd do well to avoid meddling in that conflict. A conflict between Russia and the United States could just about end the world. Your spot on about Government spending and that is my biggest issue with him. If there was an alternative that would cut spending and taxes across the board I'd be first in line to vote. I'm really not to familiar with the last point you brought up so I won't speak on it.
