Russia Already Interfering With 2020 Election: Seeks to Re-Elect Trump

Lowering the voting age to 18 was not a liberal conspiracy. Full Stop.

You really think that any piece of legislation isn't written with the intent to gain favor? The argument for a lower voting age was really fueled by the Vietnam antiwar movement, and that movement was largely liberal in origin. I've met few kids who weren't of the "why can't we ..." liberal tendencies; but they change when they enter the workforce, have to make their own way, and face the fun fact of paying taxes for those liberal dreams with their own hard earned money. So who stood to benefit from a reduction in voting age and the fresh chunk of liberalism it brought? Liberals had a plan and a message which put conservatives on the ropes. It's hard to argue against:

The eastern world it is exploding
Violence flarin', bullets loadin'
You're old enough to kill but not for votin'

Actually by lowering the voting age to 18, we stupidly helped the libs considerably. It sounded like the right thing ... old enough for dying in a war but not old enough to vote and all. It was really just a good lefty campaign slogan to include a lot of wild eyed, naive kids sold on the liberal what should be but without life experience and the thrill of having had to pay taxes to fund all those "do good" things.
It did help the left for sure but legally they are adults, even though they really aren’t, so I’m fine with them voting. There’s literally no one left that should be able to vote though. The only citizens of this country that can’t vote are under 18 or criminals who have had rights taken away. Who’s left?

Do you smoke crack?
He’s right. Most 18-24 year olds aren’t very bright, I’ll never forget discussing voting in the election during a UT class in 1996, to have a 18 year old girl tell me she was voting for Clinton because he could play the saxophone and was cuter than old Dole.

I know, and that's the catch. It's hard to argue against kids voting when they are legally considered adults, but it would be far more reassuring to know our voters are mature enough to understand what they are voting for or against, and to know that they fully understand their stake in the consequences. One thing I do know ... they are going to be paying for things like Obamacare well past my expiration date, and that falls into the categories of "just desserts" and "being careful what you wish for". My mindset is that if you don't pay federal income tax, you don't have a stake in the game and you shouldn't be voting.

If everything in the world is going smoothly, it's hard for intelligence agencies to justify lots of funding ... kinda like the climate alarmists. When intel agencies start singing for their supper, you can bet the stories are gonna be the sky is falling.

Putin must be laughing his ass off as the Dems have given him more than he could ever hope. When did we become such a puss nation?

No. I'd be happy to listen to your counterargument, though ... assuming you actually have one.
I've got a counterargument. Raise the "combat" age limit to 21 and make voting age 21...

You can still serve in the military from 18-21, but only in non-combat roles.

Read a few months ago about the Winter War between Finland and Russia. maybe we can flip this narrative of Russia collusion on its head by suggesting that Biden or anyone else losing to Bernie is getting funding from Finland, which is/was an enemy of Russia.

Finnish collusion...
