Russia Blocks Kerch Strait

should have nuked him.

am I doing this right?

Straw man by you, and pretty weak.

Trump is allowed to say that Russia is doing the wrong thing. Doesn't mean he has to attack them.

You have to admit, Trump's refusal to criticize Russia for the last two years has been alarming.

pretty sure he said both sides were in the wrong. which would include Russia. he also, eventually expanded the sanctions against Russia.

has he been the mythical Reagan and told Putin to tear down a wall? no. but really what level of reaction did you want from this? God forbid he is actually waiting on the real intelligence to come thru. as GV pointed out already, this was a no win for Trump. He comes out guns blazing and the dems light him on fire for being a war hawk, he comes out gently and they say Trump is in bed with Putin.

Oh my God you have got to be kidding!!!! Waiting on intelligence? Really!?!?!?!?

The man has REPEATEDLY ignored, insulted, and dismissed the intelligence serviceswhen they offer FACTS and don't say the political thing he wants them to.

He is anti science, anti fact. At the time we joked about alternative facts, but its totally true.

The man lives in and fabricates a fake reality on a constant basis. No matter what the intelligence services say, if it puts Trump in the position of having to criticize Putin, he will reject it or spin it.

Trump IS a Russian agent.

Putin doing pretty bad too.

and complete bs, no way to spin the seizure of Crimea as a defensive measure. even with the real fighting going on not too far away Ukraine never made any moves to seize the port.

We’ve been through this!! This was a coup...and you know it!!

How was it a coup when Euromadian fought the central government who had thousands of cops, weapons, and resources of the government to bring to bear against them? It was a people's revolution that was brought on by the previous regime's corruption and illegal actions.

Ukraine is a role player(bought off leadership) in the geopolitical game called US vs RF....

The Ukraine wants no part of a military Russia....

Russia would take Kiev in a week, tops...

Madness on the Ukrainian side...whoever is calling the shots there....needs a timeout...

Back in 2014 I'd have agreed with you. After 4 years of fighting the Ukrainians have improved their military capabilities. Would the Russians eventually win? Sure but it wouldn't be a walk in the park. Furthermore I really doubt the Russians have the ability to sustain and offensive and than occupy the entire country with its current military resources.

And Uranium One didn't alarm you? Weird how Trump and Republicans alarm you, but apparently Dems never do....

If Ukraine were to grind out a war in Russia and senda couple thousand Russian home in body bags Support for the war on Russias home front would collapse. We saw that take place in Syria.

Not one bit. Your feelings, complete disregard for facts, and deflection to Uranium One are telling.
The Uranium One controversy refers to the sale of Uranium One to Rosatom, which American conservative media and Republican politicians characterized as a bribery scandal involving Hillary Clinton and the Clinton Foundation. No evidence of wrongdoing has been found after three years of allegations, an FBI investigation, and the 2017 appointment of a Federal Attorney to evaluate the investigation.

Since the 2015 publication of the book Clinton Cash by Breitbart News editor and Steve Bannon collaborator Peter Schweizer, as well as a 2015 New York Times article,[1]allegations of a bribery scheme involving Hillary Clinton, the Clinton Foundation and the 2010 sale of Uranium One have persisted, primarily in conservative media. Despite nearly three years of discussion and analysis of the matter — as well as an FBI investigation[2] — no evidence of any quid pro quo or other wrong-doing has surfaced. Numerous Republican politicians and pundits, including President Donald Trump, have insisted that the Clinton-Uranium One story is the "real" Russian scandal, rather than the matters for which Trump is being investigated.[3][4][5]

I never said that...

But I wish I had.

yeah a coup by Russia.

The "coup" happens, several months later some Ukrainian miners in eastern Ukraine find some abandoned modern Russian (Not USSR) tech/equipment/weapons/soldiers in a mine and start winning. then several months after the once losing but now somehow winning easily Ukrainian miners also staged their coup in Crimea. Kicking out the elected officials in the middle of the night, occupying the government buildings, and then the next day holding a sham election while they "monitored" the polls armed to the teeth with those modern Russian guns they found in the mine.

and that's ignoring Russia's hands in the original coup. Where the official in charge after months and tons of public support for closer ties to the EU does a complete 180 in the middle of the night to side with Russia. Then after a protest goes wrong Russia moves in and secures that Ukrainian official before he can squelch. Russian then uses that sham deal that got the official kicked out to choke Ukraine's economy as much as possible, while leveeing huge penalties against Ukraine because they can't afford the crap deal, especially once those pesky Ukrainian miners somehow magically turn into Russian regulars creating a huge drain on Ukraine's stumbling economy.

Disrupting shipping is just the next step in Russia's book. They want to destabilize Ukraine so they can land grab again.
