I swear ... we do absolutely nothing and get blamed , we come to the aid of either side we get blamed . Trump doesn’t take a stand he’s weak because Putin puppet , he says some and he just a war monger that’s following Putin’s plan . it would be funny if Trump just went ahead and recused himself from the whole thing. made a point about doing so to make sure the Europeans felt like their was no Russian meddling from his end.

I never brought the US into this...you did...and the exact same thing could be said of you regarding the US...so, you’re being hypocritical, at best...

This isn’t about us sailing through the South China Sea to flex our world police muscles....these countries are neighbors, and until Maiden had neighborly relations for the most part...

This is obviously a he said, she said, until all the facts come out...but, because our media is so anti-Russian, it immediately points the finger at the hated rival...

Surely you’re not naive enough to think the RF has anything to win by being provocative towards their neighbors when the whole western world would love nothing more than to find yet another excuse to sanction or demonize them?

This whole thing smells of a rat....especially with the overly dramatic move by Poroshenko to impose martial law...

Never should have been in Syria, we should be out of both Afghanistan and Iraq. No reason for us to get involved with what Russia is doing. Pretty much everything we did in N. Africa was frucked from the start. If you have any particulars you think I am giving us a pass on let me know.

This is all part of the same plan that Putin has been executing from for a while. microaggressions that get a pass or eventually forgot. he's the 900 lb bear taking nibbles. You can't just swat him, he's a 900 lb bear; but you also can't go in guns blazing because its just a nibble.

Poroshenkos bit is definitely taking advantage of the situation, maybe Russia should go in a rescue him too.

Not that I believe it but Petro is saying he has intelligence reports saying Russia is preparing for a ground invasion and martial law was needed to ensure security.

Kyiv Post article above indicated the martial law does not have a significant effect on the military's stance.

This smells of opportunism.

I’ll agree with most of that except the micro aggressions from Putin. Most all of Putin’s aggression has been in retaliation or defensive measures to protect the Russian sphere from western manipulation...

Call it what you want...but, Putin isn’t going to allow the west to just buy up neighbors with IMF money that leads to total economic collapse, just like in Greece, and now Ukraine...at the expense of losing key naval ports like Sevastopol to the US...ain’t gonna happen...

The US orchestrated a cagey coup of Yanukovich because he had a better deal with Russia...now Poroshenko and the Ukrainian people are paying the price...economy in shambles, indebted to the IMF...

This looks like a provocation(imo) by Poroshenko to cling onto power...election is in March...failing badly at the polls...unite the peeps against the boogeyman...jmo

Ukraine is a role player(bought off leadership) in the geopolitical game called US vs RF....

The Ukraine wants no part of a military Russia....

Russia would take Kiev in a week, tops...

Madness on the Ukrainian side...whoever is calling the shots there....needs a timeout...

and complete bs, no way to spin the seizure of Crimea as a defensive measure. even with the real fighting going on not too far away Ukraine never made any moves to seize the port.
