3. with the Russians occupying the Donbas region the last major economic driver in that part of Eastern Ukraine is the Sea Azov. this is another choke down on the economy.
3.b Mauripol has always been a target of the Russians. back when they were pushing with the rebels. they want their land bridge. which would cut Ukraine off.
seriously its been how many years since Russia seized Crimea and gained that choke point? 4 years? and you are telling me this is the first "procedure" error that happened? and the best/only response was to open fire and seize a ship and crew? plus they still haven't opened the lane back up for normal travel. If this was all one big mistake why is Russia playing its hand so strong? seems like they would be willing to resume normal operations pretty fast and wouldn't require interrogating crews back in Moscow
