Russia bounty on US troops

Precisely what is a lie?

I'm not implying he had a choice; it's simply not relevant to the argument. Trump disagreed with the bill, which was essentially a separation of powers dispute fueled by the left using Russian propaganda.
You said that Trump did not want to remove already existing sanctions against Russia at the time he took office. That is a lie. Almost as soon as Trump took office, his top aides told the State Department to develop proposals to lift penalties on Russia that had been imposed by the Obama Administration. Those penalties were imposed for Russia's intervention in Ukraine and from meddling in the 2016 election.

You should be embarrassed by including white house officials on that list. And it's pretty obvious the leaks are coming from people who work in intel.

Yes; I should accept anonymous sources as fact when the very people in charge of national security, including NSA Dir. O'Brien are telling us it is unverfied intel rumor, and that it didn't rise to the level of alerting the president and veep.

You should be embarrassed by your lack of discernment.

Anybody jumping on one side or the other of this thing before actual proof is shown to prove it either way is just dumb . Let it play out and see where the facts are .

There won't be much more proof. It's obviously national security related or classified. The administration will be tight lipped or self-serving. The only way anything comes out will be through anonymous sources, and people tend to believ or disbelieve anonymous sources depending on whether they like what the source said.

If you think the Pentagon, WH officials, and people who actually work in intel are all lining up to lie for Trump about a nothing burger, "dumb" doesn't begin to cover the intellectual black hole you exist in.
We have heard from Trump's National Security Adviser, Robert O'Brien, and the White House Press Secretary, Kayleigh McEnany. That is it. The only statements from within the State Department so far, have been critical of the leaks... but have not addressed the validity of the reports on Russian bounties.

There’s the problem we as Americans have . There are WAY to damn many things politicians are able to “ classify “ simply because they don’t think the public “ needs to know “ .

Next he’s going to tell us the Russians denied it.

“American officials intercepted electronic data showing large financial transfers from a bank account controlled by Russia’s military intelligence agency to a Taliban-linked account, which was among the evidence that supported their conclusion that Russia covertly offered bounties for killing U.S. and coalition troops in Afghanistan, according to three officials familiar with the intelligence.”

“The intercepts bolstered the findings gleaned from the interrogations, helping reduce an earlier disagreement among intelligence analysts and agencies over the reliability of the detainees. The disclosures further undercut White House officials’ claim that the intelligence was too uncertain to brief President Trump. In fact, the information was provided to him in his daily written brief in late February, two officials have said.”

Well, no; it isn't what he said but what he actually did numerous times in deference to Putin.

Odd how my "right wing talking points" consistently align with fact.
It must be frustrating.
You just BELIEVE it aligns with fact. Trump has been a disaster for our foreign policy.

Problem is that the people who can do this get fired

It’s not a right or left thing it’s a political / politician thing . There’s way too many subject that they are allowed to keep classified that shouldn’t be . They all work for us . I understand certain things like active military ops . But not the rest . I’ll give one of the greatest examples I know of .. The JFK assassination files . Not talking about a conspiracy , I’m just purely talking about them being classified for decades .

I am extremely familiar with how classified info works

Joe and his silly logic. He's just ignorant of how MAGA works.

LOL. So Biden says Trump is derelict of duty if he wasn't briefed, and was derelict of duty if he was briefed. F##KING BRILLIANT! What next? Biden gonna say a guy is a murderer if he didn't murder, and he is a murderer if he did murder?

Not as long as they didn't break any rules and they are career employees. I've seen 4 people fired in federal government in my 20 years. Alcohol, Drugs, sleeping on the job, sleeping on the job.

The last three are thanks to me :)
